Hi,

Just to check is there any bro here using Engine Ice - High Performance Coolant? Can share your experience with this product? How much do you guys spend on flush and top up with this coolant for GSR 400?

Its a little extreme to use it. In our weather/climate, there is no need to use Glycol Base Engine Coolant. Can save quite a lot from there.

Not to bring down the product. Maybe you can see this that i found in some forum.

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9587166

Quote there:-

"I don't know what Honda coolant is made of, and I don't remember if it was one of the coolants that Dirt Rider tested or not. But, compared to an ethylene glycol mixture (the green stuff), yes, Engine Ice does not transfer heat as well. This translates to lower radiator temperatures but higher cylinder head temperatures."

From Wiki:-

"The major use of ethylene glycol is as a medium for convective heat transfer in, for example, automobiles and liquid cooled computers. Due to its low freezing point it is used as a deicing fluid for windshields and aircraft. Ethylene glycol is also commonly used in chilled water air conditioning systems that place either the chiller or air handlers outside, or systems that must cool below the freezing temperature of water."

It does makes sense though since hotter engine increases performance.

In the end, its still your choice.

well i have already thought about those already. i had a few stops b4 already but they never onced asked me to start my engine to rev or anything. and i have a few friends working in TP so i can call to ask if there are any road blocks anywhere.

TPs are nothing...its the LTAs aka ROVs that you must beware of.

yup i have friends working there too. they keep me updated. my pipes ar much safer then those who have titanium balls to change the pipes. even more burst water(in hokkien la) when i see white ants. i tend to bring up higher gears to make the sound softer. so if nothing much. those daring change pipe, LTA stop ask cert, " sorry ah sir no cert ah" then wad happen. get a small cert also. cert to pay fine.

Well nothing much to say there since you already cover all angles. Can only say one sentence to you...Good Luck.

Hahah use PVC...confirm + chop Gooondu hahahha. Won't it melt often? And won't you need to clean up the mess + install a new PVC piping? The cost I think in the long run will be more.

If bamboo, I can accept hehehhe

PC3 is a piggyback systems which can tune the air fuel ratio to give optimum performance, if ppl thinks it is useless, let them be la........

Why bother? as long as u know i know can liaoz...

I wanna get a dyno graph of my bike... hahaha

Who what where when?
