inside the midpipe got a big catalyser.. and it weighs around 300-400g. that's just one side.

inside the exhaust, got another cat. I'm going to have it remove this Saturday.

 

I did not change bigger diameter extractor, but if I were to remove the cat inside the exhaust, I will need to put another pipe into the midpipe, for tighter air flow.

 

imho, if bigger extractor, the air flow might be too much.

 

but for guys using after market exhaust that comes with extractor, don't think you need to extract the cat ba.

 

btw, I did it at Sengkwang. Depending on what you do, generally around 300 bucks ba.

will take some photos will I head over to remove the other side it tomorrow.

Now can feel the difference between 2 sides. cos due to me needing to rush off, only did one side.

 

Can do @ SANFU also, look for Jawa(bsos) i'll de-cat my R1-04 model last time with him..! for $50.

 

Not sure BB how much he charge....!

 

Alternatively u can change to an aftermarket header like with no catalyser.

Bro...i wonder if termignoni cans are legal for a BB...Saw the ads of Racewerks saying its for x-11...

 

When you say kedai mamak i remembered my cycling days,there's this bicycle shop (Attitude Bikes) at Telok Kurau,we use to call it "kedai mama"...

 

Guys wanna check with you...End of this month i'm planning to go Penang,plus a rilek2 trip to Hatyai. Heard from some friends that you need to bring log card for customs clearance to thailand. Currently my bb is under my oldmans name lah...So how to go about?..Last question,how far is hatyai from border?...

 

If they bring in for X-11, for sure can also fit BB, should be the same, same goes for akra, GPR ect....

 

They all can be match for BB and X-11.

From what i know..too freeflow or less backpressure will affect your low rpm peformance...but increases your high rpm peformance...

 

I'm not sure header mods will make inspection pass or not..

normally some peeps will juz get a full system or some will juz leave the header untouched.

Got my BB liao! Anybody here got lobangs for original Foot rest? Mine are race rearsets, dun like the feel. Not as torquey as a Busa just as i expected, but i just like the smooth flat torque delivery! Any local meetups soon?

yah. let's check the price. Jaws didn't indicate whether their is Alu or Stainless Steel. Alu is too soft, and the bolt will get rounded after a few use. It's around 80 USD, which translate to roughly, 105SGD..

 

Boon Siew selling the original bolts at $5 each. Pretty close..... Hmmm..

Bros, somewhere on the "E" line on the fuel tank meter, i only manage to squeeze in another 17 litres of petrol only. Is that normal for a 2000 EFI model?

 

When does the resrve light light up, i rode for quite long, even slightly below the "E" line, but it still doesn't light up.

 

What's the average consumption ?

Bro zesture, me have been using it since december or january 2009 .. thot of putting it on on weekends only but ended up permanently .. basically i love it because of the sound .. and i got a pair and it is wrapped .. so, from far look like ori .. bought it from bro confused ..

 

As for TP, was warned by bro confused that it is STREET ILLEGAL but so far so good .. few brushes with TP but like u said, looks like if u dont 'show off' n u r on a tourer, they dont touch 'that much' I think..

 

The closest brush was when a TP was 2 bikes behind me at a junction .. I move off slow and maintain 50km/h .. sound not that loud, then for all u know, the TP was beside me looking front to back lah ... my balls shrink sia .. but after that, he rode off .. very very close .. but i hope there will be no second encounter lah .. I tink your bike outlook and your outlook also MAY play a part, my bike is original .. not even a yoshi or spark plug sticker or the thai lic plate i got in hatyai .. hihihhihi ... me ? had only plain no shine black EVO helmet with clear visor and a blue faded glove .. hihihi ... so, the ball is in your court ..
