my camp MO wants me to go for a medical review at any of the hospitals to get a report of my current condition, currently im pes E, because he wants to up me to pes B. (in Dec he made an appt for me to see him for Pes review, then he say im already ok and he will up pes me)
but now he say he wants black and white to show that i am really ok. hmm. :? so...

1. how to go for it? must make appointment at spec clinic or just walk-in to a&e?
2. do i need to pay any special charges for x-ray duplications etc?

Since it is the MO wants to upgrade you, ask MO to arrange medical appt for you.

Sometime, it is possible to ask for hospital most convenient to you.

At the same time, bring a letter from MO, so that the doctor in hospital knows what to check. This authorisation letter will enable you to have medical check FOC too.

You need to be referred by your camp MO for the specialist clinic..
Normally, after you report sick, they will tell you to wait for the referral letter..

system is very slow, so you will need to wait quite a while..
did you left the medical centre without the referral letter??

If you go there by yourself, you will need to pay for the first consultation..
If you have the referral letter, SAF will pay..

you will need to bring back all the letters and results from your specialist clinic back to your camp MO to view..
then you will be schedule for medical board to upgrade your PES status..

i left without any letter, cos the medics told me they will call again, and didnt say the need to review and take report from hospitals or specs.

so i will just call the MO and ask for referral letters then. thanks!

you may need to report sick and highlight your problem again..
as previously your MO had said to refer you to specialist clinic..

just go back to medical centre and highlight the issue again as admin lapse are very common..
