IMO, i feel it's best if you're settled down and not under pressure. Then you'll get a closer accuracy to what your standard is. Even better: Challenge yourself by not looking at the keyboard but only on the screen. This is what I call true touch-typing :thumb:

Thats what I did. By not looking at the keyboards. only 55wpm w/o errors. if got errors it will be 62wpm :(
You know what Hondaman, you're right.

The 10-fingers website is one way to see how fast you type. The words appear random so you're forced to double your concentration. More like a game.

However, the TS supplied website at www.TypingTest.com, I got a better score just by choosing to type a story, with the timer set at 2 minutes ;)

The latter website closely highlights what we usually do on the internet or at work, typing natural English sentences with correct grammar :P
