Oh ya. I almost forgot. I did drop my keys before. I close my box, but I forgot to remove the key. The happily ride to work. Who knows ride half way bloody heavy rain. Then WAS going to open my box to get my rain coat, but ALAMAK! Key lost together with house key. Took the rain awhile to seep into my head before I realise that I left my key on the keyhole. Guess it must have dropped out while Riding. Lucky my box super low quality one, use force and ply open the box.

but after i did the corner.. the softener fell off.. and the lorry behind me "OEI" me to get my attention.. i reach back to touch my seat and realise my softener not there anymore.. so paiseh.. contnue riding...

i tink i heard b4 tht harleys r quite famous for their nuts & bolts coming loose easily, so actually tis makes it a veri lousy tourer or rather its not designed to be a tourer but funny thing is tht there r still lots of pple using it for touring

actually i brought ard 6 packet of hor fun, tat was inside the plastic bag, but did notice tats a small hole below, but d not really care much since i already sitted on my bike and really to go le, i hand it on the left side of my handle. think too heavy le, tats y. but then was lucky manage to save the rest. :sweat:

I dunno how you all hold plastic bags when riding. I tried using only the thumb to hold it and it has worked well so far. Put the loop through the thumb and put the thumb on top of the handgrip. Give it a shoot. worked well so far.

My wife was holding a big bag of toys as pillion, when a car driver open his door.....pang!! thats it!! she fall.

I face the same thing, last week in AMK. a car park amk ave10. stop his car and open door without check. almost flew off. beware of vehicle on the road side as there are always some .A** H*** around. :offtopic:

Just recently drop a leather card holder holding my security passes, permits, namecards, spare photos & $20/- folded into the card holder.

Usually has it hanging from my neck but the clip must have come off while riding.

Now my turn of sharing.

In 2002, I dropped my bag that contained

1) digital diary (Thankfully password protected)
2) packet tissue that is in a embroidered casing made by my ex-gf!!
3) pencil box that contains my eyedrops and favourite pen
4) camera (Olympus somemore!!)
5) tripod (cheap one bought in Carrefour)
6) El-cheapo mini umbrella.

That was in Australia. I secured my bag on the bike rack, took my friend for a spin around the uni, went over a pot hole and return only to find the abovementioned bag gone!! But I didn't secure my bag properly, so it's my fault too.

This one was in 2001. I wasn't riding. This was when I was caring for a paraplegic. We went shopping and because it was a scorching summer, we brought a portable water cooler with us. In Australia, you can be a paraplegic and drive a modified car.

After shopping, I put the portable water cooler on the roof of the car and helped him into the driver's seat by the front passenger seat. This was one of the old Ford Falcon with a 3-seater in the front. So he just move across.

I got into the car and we drove off. As we were driving, drivers from the other direction started to horn at us. Finally, at the traffic light, someone wound down their window and pointed above our car. We pulled over and the portable water cooler was there.....

i dropped my slipper.

weeee hours in the morning travelling back home frm my girlie's place, along boon lay way, wasn't wearing it tight, no car, no traffic, so travel @ 50km/hr, enjoying the breeze, half cap, on cub, idle idle... then oops.

stopped beside the road and went back to pick up. errrmmm... ya, that's the only thing i've dropped.

1. i dropped my digital camera ~ $500 (who ask u dont brin bag or pouch )

2. i dropped my tool box ~ $20 (nth to say no box?)

3. i dropped my hp ~ $400 (people oftenly have)

3. i dropped somethings i bought, tied it to my bike, travel at 120, next thing i know the whole bag gone. ~ $30 (who ask u travl so fast with thing tied on la)

4. rag, dunno how many pieces liao ~ $10
5. dropped my gloves ~ $30+(got gloves dont wear lar)

I just remembered this. I dropped 2 screws on 2 separate occasions.

Screw 1

This screw is the one for the rear seat! I didn't know until I asked myself how come the rear seat so loose? Look at the back and found out that the screw is gone! Good thing that day I was going to service my bike. Paid $2 for a new screw :giddy:

This one is my front number plate. I noticed the screw was gone about 2 days before I went for my 1st M'sia trip. I quickly went to hardware store and buy new screw and nut. Had to buy in bulk. So cost me total of $1.70

I dropped my sidebox keys last month, before Christmas. The keys are attached to a quickdraw (in terms of rockclimbing, quickdraw is a little carabiner attached to a strip of nylon, so that you can clip it to the bolts on the wall and slip the rope through. Thankfully I was going home and there's a spare set of keys. The following week I rode back on the same route slowly. No keys :cry: I supposed that it got washed away with the rain or flood.

Lost my 499 Baht polarised sunglasses on the AYE few hours ago when I was with some Harley riders. The sunglasses slipped out of my breast pocket and flew off. I knew it flew off 'cos I heard a noise, like that of broken glass behind me. I felt my pocket and my sunglasses were gone

another instance was where i placed my pet carried at the back seat,with my parrot inside.....lucky when stop at traffic light felt sum1 scracthing my back,lol...den realsied my parrot was out and he jumped to the pavement....lucky stop at traffic light and best was he decided to jump the other side where the pavement was.....tio shocked lol parrots quite smart esp cocktoos where they can unlock the carrier locking mechanism themselves.....

I recalled when I was riding my SP then, I had this bike cover behind my pillion seat and it kinda flown off as I didn't secure it tightly enough, it freak out all those motorist behind me and nearly an accident as we were all traveling within a merging lane. :sweat:

i dropped my glasses which were in my right cargo pants pocket. due to my foolishness, i almost lost my life at the same time.

1. i have drop my exhaust pipe before. at the cte 1st tunnel toward amk. i did return to search for the exhaust, and i did found it. but it was flaten. i have no choice but to buy a new exhaust. (it is on my dt200).

2. I drop many screws and nearly a box (still got 1 screw left holding it). it was on a xr250 in thailand.

3. I drop my gear shifter before. it was later spot and found by a fellow biker (sweeper) that is behind me. it was at NSH.

4. i drop my helmet visor before. there was an accident ealier and my helmet that hold the visor is loose on the left side. after 2 hour of riding it fly off (as it rip off the right side too) and it was unable to be found.

5. i drop a pillon before. i was young then and the bike is too powerful. it pop wheelie a little bit and the back pillon fall off.

6. i drop my bike before. my riding buddy infront of me got into an accident (jump) and fell. i was worry of him so much that without thinking, drop my bike and run to him. Till today, i still feel heart pain and blame myself that i forgot to use the side stand.

7. while riding i drop a smile before but got good result. i made a new friend.

8. i drop my license plate before and i learn that i cannot trust double tape even it said to be the strongest and heavy duty type from 3M.

9. (don't know if this count) i break my suspension and while riding i feel that my seat is getting lower and lower. Then i get of the bike, the level return to normal again. In the end, i realise i broke the shaft into 2. the upper piece resting on the swing-arm and the lower piece hanging downward. the reason my seat level get lower and lower becos the upper shaft is slipping further along the swing-arm.

10. i drop 2 piece of 2 dollar note while ridng. it fly off in cte tunnel on my shirt pocket.

11. during a accident (a car hit me from behind), i cannot find my hp. i presume it fly off from my shirt pocket and landed on a moving car. it is not found anywhere on the accident area. it is a nokia73. if any one do find it, pls return to me. the date happen is in the nov or earlier dec last yr.

12. i just drop my wallet on friday morning (18jan) while riding to work (from amk to boat quey). it is a kaki color wallet. If anyone find it, pls return it to me too. u can keep the money ($150RM and $2SGD). just mail me back my cards and working pass will do. if there is a need, i can provide a return mail postage to u. 5. i drop a pillon before. i was young then and the bike is too powerful. it pop wheelie a little bit and the back pillon fall off.

6. i drop my bike before. my riding buddy infront of me got into an accident (jump) and fell. i was worry of him so much that without thinking, drop my bike and run to him. Till today, i still feel heart pain and blame myself that i forgot to use the side stand.

7. while riding i drop a smile before but got good result. i made a new friend.

8. i drop my license plate before and i learn that i cannot trust double tape even it said to be the strongest and heavy duty type from 3M.

9. (don't know if this count) i break my suspension and while riding i feel that my seat is getting lower and lower. Then i get of the bike, the level return to normal again. In the end, i realise i broke the shaft into 2. the upper piece resting on the swing-arm and the lower piece hanging downward. the reason my seat level get lower and lower becos the upper shaft is slipping further along the swing-arm.

10. i drop 2 piece of 2 dollar note while ridng. it fly off in cte tunnel on my shirt pocket.

11. during a accident (a car hit me from behind), i cannot find my hp. i presume it fly off from my shirt pocket and landed on a moving car. it is not found anywhere on the accident area. it is a nokia73. if any one do find it, pls return to me. the date happen is in the nov or earlier dec last yr.

12. i just drop my wallet on friday morning (18jan) while riding to work (from amk to boat quey). it is a kaki color wallet. If anyone find it, pls return it to me too. u can keep the money ($150RM and $2SGD). just mail me back my cards and working pass will do. if there is a need, i can provide a return mail postage to u. My address is on my driving license.

13. i want to say i drop a wheel before but that is while driving a lorry. so that may not be counted here. (u know when those tyre punture and blow into pieces).

i dropped my mp3...earpiece is still stuck to my ear, mp3 slip out of pocket and fly away. Realise when there is no music suddenly. Run back to retrieve.

i also drop b4 but nt mp3.. but my hp.. was listening to radio when turning left, suddenly no music.. turn back saw my hp on the road. :giddy: quickly stop my bike at the road side and pick up my phone.. luckily nv spoil or split into 2.. :angel:

i strongly believe that a proper footwear is a must as last friday had a fall boots was badly scratch and imgine what if im wearing slipper. . where will my toe nail be ?? but somethings go nearby places tend to lazy . . esp LAB is so near my house. . just wear slipper and shorts den broomm broomm kia liao :angel:
