go according to the manual. first 800km, not more than 50% throttle. speed wise is not an issue. when running in, it is the engine revs we are concerned of and not the road speed. use engine brake as often as possible and regulate your throttle. during run in, do not hold constant throttle as this will not create the "pressure" difference in the engine to seal your piston rings.
after your first 800km, change engine oil. still stick to mineral oil as semi syn or fully syn EO are too "slippery" for run in. you need a certain amount of friction during run in to seal the piston rings. for the 2nd 800km, go not more than 75% throttle, and also vary your engine speed. which means, open and close your throttle constantly. DO NOT just hold on the throttle. i know it is not easy to keep varying the throttle, but this is part and parcel of running in. best to do in the night when traffic ain't that heavy, so it is safer for yourself and other road users.
after the 2nd 800km, which will mean your total mileage will be about 1600km, you can use whatever engine oil you like liao. the running in process should be complete.![]()

Thanks for the idea. Not too bad. I was thinking of the McDonald's near the national stadium. They have an open carpark where we can ride around with. Not forgetting lunch as well.
It's just a normal lock. The ones where you press the combination number. I lock it to the box bracket. Don't think there's a place to lock if you ain't got a box.

1. i guess you can just fabricate a small bracket from Sengkwang just enough to prevent the inside of your feet from touching the engine casing.
2. Wear protective gear and make your seat more plush so that you won't suffer from a sore Butt!anyway, Batu Pahat ain't that far away so do not think there'll be much of a problem. I have know of people riding the bike all the way up to Thailand.

i got the same problem. my rear brake just jammed..im not too sure either why it happens..after a while..its ok oredi..anyway just check your brake calliper and see if theres any dirt in between..
i always get stuff overseas...well this tune up kit from ooracing is very expensive...
Just take note..
- bigger carb(26mm) you can get easily here..
- sprocket sizes maybe quite ok to get cos the rear sprocket(39T) hard to get and take note its only the rear sprocket..
- im not sure abt the CDI though unless someone here have tried the CDI from ooracing..and have reviews on it.
i know some people who install the racing CDI but not much of difference felt
LASTLY....even you install all this TRUST ME the result will not be what you expected it to be...
BECOS.. if you change to big carb like the 28mm(stock22mm) and your block and piston you dnt change to big sizes you wont get the result.
BIG CARB OF COURSE NEED BIG BORE BLOCK AND PISTON HEAD AND THE CAMSHAFT TOO...
Simple theory would be BIG CARB(26mm)which gonna pump in more fuel BUT your STOCK BLOCK and STOCK PISTON is too small to take the consumption then you engine suck up too much fuel whats the point if u still wont feel the power infact your engine will get "choke".
CDI for me unless its proven i will use it..cos this CDI have been mod and its a racing CDI..Should this CDI **** up..it wil screw up all your electronic components big time and you will spend more money to rectify it and REMEMBER parts are not easily to get here..FYI our CDI uses 4 pin not 5 for those who wanna get the CDI
theres more things need to be done to achive the power that you are expecting...
currently im using a 24mm carb with a 135cc big bore kit. and samaller front and rear sprocket..im happy with the results but im still trying to trial and error cos i wanna go to 150cc maybe 160cc..
if any of you guys need the 135cc big bore kit i can try and get it for you..full set with bigger camshaft..if we can get more people then we can share the shipping..and best of all it wont cost you more than 300 bucks with shipping.
Carb depends on individual preference thought..keihin or mikuni and as for me its mikuni and also you need to know what sizes of the jetting you wann for your carb.
If we can have a meet up sessions i would be glad to discuss on how to mod our madass.
BUT just take note once you mod up your bike your engine will sound different and vibration will be strong then again some of us wold not like it..
Some of Us may have a different ways of mod from mine and i hope we can share and discuss so our options are wider..
.

here are the 135cc big bore kit and sprockets that im currently using.

if you guys wanna used the 26mm carb your engine would have to look something like this...got to remove your air filter box and use power filter with intake manifold that go side way cos you wont have room for your big carb.
if you wanna fix the oil cooler. that space is the best for me...
i got an inverted fork something like this but have yet to fix..
if we wanna spray our bike prob would be the sticker..
i got 1 spare but was thinking of changing color so i need the sticker..![]()
but if we could get someone to do the sticker here then easier for everyone of us..cos the original sticker that i got ..i have to order it and not worth to pay shipping just for sticker..
i got it becos i was ordering lots of stuff..so i just thought just buy lor who noes i might wanna spray my bike later![]()
Really appreciate the advise. Since it's ex. where do you recommend to mod or get the "juices" for the bike. Is that your bike? It really looks fierce.. I believe it"works' as well.
Which shop locally did you go to get yr bike mod up? Did you d.i.y?

It's depends on wat shape & sizes u wan. It's custom made anyway. I had made into the size of road tax disc (10.5mm) also there's shape of bandage.
As for where to paste it really depends on yrslf... anywhere you feel it's looks nice.
You are certainly a very nice chap, even thot we might not have meet b4 you are oldry tiking of giving "freebies".. ke.ke..ke..... well anytik tat's is free is always a welcome..he.he..he...
Keep us posted when you are organising the meet up... will have to arrange time... cheers mate!

Rear Brake @#$* up...
Mainly due to my riding style which uses a lot of rear braking...
...one fine day while riding along pie, 2-up, heaps of traffic... the bike suddenly lost power... when i tap the rear brake to find no movement, i noe that the rear brake sieze liao.
Because I going to night classes no choice but to ignore and just ride. After cool down no problem. Just have to rely on front brake...
Anyway Mah was kind enough to tow the bike from my carpark and replace the rear disc.

Hi All,
There are about 50 Madass on our roads since the 1st bike was registered in Jan 08. I'm thinking of getting one just for the fun of it, but there are 2 issues thus far:
1. The shutting down of the bike without warning as posted earlier, claimed to be the fusebox?
2. The seizing of the rear brake, due to constant usage?
The denominator of the 2 bikes that faces these problems "coincidentally" were purchased from Mah. I've already written them off as a place to purchase bikes in general.
But to be fair, it is bcos of Mah or just other Madass bought elsewhere(with problem) is not coming onboard to discuss?
Pls contribute constructively.
Thanks
From my knowledge, all Madass are from Mah.
your issues...
1. Shutting down of bike w/o warning--> many reasons
-cab not tune properly
-dirty carb (usually older bikes/2-strokers)
-no fuel (covers fuel delivery)
2. Rear brake seize...
-due to the design
-installation (factory)
you still want one?

its the most stupid bike that i had seen.. ugliest bike for the decade n forever.. my 2 cent worth. haha
It's yr own view my friend.... maybe to you it's the most stupid bike that i had seen.. ugliest bike for the decade n forever.. but to others it might not be...
each have our own taste.... rather "degrading" to post such comments to fellow madass owners like myself.
How do you deem "stupid"??? What is ugly? Are you smart enough to design a bike as of such? Are you able to design a much better looking bike as of such?
Perhaps drawing a frame & add 2 wheels is the most most of us can manage... (maybe adding a handle bar) ke.ke...ke....
hehehehehe.....
ugly but adorable i guess...
madass is like the mini cooper of the bike version..heheheheh
well im not too sure if our madass is assembly locally here..but as we all know its engine is assemble in china and some parts they used are not of a good quality..thats why i had most of it stripped down and change.
I got my bike in april and after changing most parts on it..im quite satisfied with my bike now.
yeahh...keep us update of any meeting...i would be glad to join you guys..heheheh
Well.. it's seems like you have another view to this bike.... Now it's a mini copper... well I would rather put it as it's the modern Version of "Chappy"......
Each have their views to this bike... some fell in love at 1st sight.. others deem it as bicycle..... but none can deny the attention this bike gets when it's riden on the road....
I believe the other attentions drawers would be BMW's & Ducati's etc.... well these bikes cost a bomb to own them..... at least so far i managed to be stopped by a group locals stopping to pose/take photo with the bike while crossing the road in the mids of a traffic stop.... ke.ke.ke....
