still prefer the gsr400 in this class. gladius looks too curvy, doesn't have the sharp fierce look of a naked.

SV400 is no longer in production for quite some time liao, only left SV650. Full wet weight is 206kg, heavy for a v-twin.

seriously i dun understand why suzuki made the back part of front fender so short.
during wet ride, water will splash onto the engine n short the spark plug (common fault of all sv).
isn't the front fender to prevent water splashing onto the engine?
have to change front fender n waste money on a aftermarket fender.
lean mixture burns slowly because of the wide spacing of the fuel molecules:
    1) slow combustion leads to overheating of the cooling system caused by the flame being there for a longer period.
    2) combustion continues after the valves open leads to burnt exhaust valves.
    3) overheat destroy oil properties.
    4) evaporated oil form sludge.
    5) less fuel, less power.

FYI, this model is mainly aimed at lady riders...hence the soft styling and rounder edges.
But we can also soup it up to make it into a badass streetfighter.

Agreed, from the design I’m gonna concur that it’s designed for a lady rider.
hehe taking a 636 and stripping it to be a street fighter would be a better option.

400cc = Grey Import = For Japanese Market
Sillypore, Australia and a few countries are lucky enough to get them. Hence we don't get to see many bikes in 400cc...

It looks good to me... such ergonomics, riders should have a maximum comfort throughout its journey. 400cc pack with sufficient power to ride in sillypore road, decent enough to travel north too. Ease on your pocket money as well.

That's mine if I'd ever get Cls2A... in erm, perhaps in a decade.

But nope, I'd likely settle for a 30 year old Steed, Shadow or something.

looks great, but the same problem is

    singapore is super4 land.

    parts parts parts.
    Always ride safely and defensively.
    Repair bike cheap and fast,
    Repair body expensive and slow.

How bad could it be?? I mean for rare new bikes such as this?

What spare parts could be potentially needed?? Engine parts? Forks and stuff??? Barring an accident i think chains and sprockets can be found here?

I dunno, anyone care to share?...

LOL... if those parts are needed I still believe they able to provide you. Just that might have to wait (*subject to availability), about consumables, shouldn't be a problem getting it since they expect to wear over some time. Race back in time, during 2006 when GSR storm sillypore. Many of us have this concern too... but I have seen GSR population grow over the years, partly due to its style and confidence in the machine? No doubt CB400SF still top the chart, but GSR or maybi Gladius shall take the crown somewhere down the road?
