    Default Desaru Details

    Hi all,

Riding to desaru in two weeks. Jus a couple of frens. A couple of questions

    1. Faster to go through woodlands or Tuas?
    2. Cheap good hotel?
    3. Do the resorts allow parking of bikes in hotel front? (All big CC sports)
    4. Other than beaches...whats there to do?

Anymore useful info pls add in

And I am not so sure of the exact direction from woodlands

i went to desaru a couple of yrs back..i forgot e name of the place bt its the place right before the golf course(e golf course is e last 1). wen u enter is a large carpark. e chalet or bungalow gt 4 rms(2 below 2 on top). and got balcony in every rm. best ting is..the chalet is rite beside the sea..at night while u slpin cn hear e waves..shiok! n gt many2 star..sg pathetic..too bright..cnnt see star. u cn park ur bike right outside ur room(dats wad e locals do too). some activities u cn do ard desaru would be go-kart n horseback ridin..bt neva reali saw any1 doin it..so juz enjoy e beach la..e waves r damn shiok

eatin place i would like to recommend to go to kota tinggi. ride up towards e hospital..aft dat will see a row of shophouses and look for Hasan Onn. Superb seafood. if u get lost..juz ask e locals. dat place is famous

Sorry to dig up this thread, but does anyone know the name of the hotel in Desaru with the chalets?

A few of us are planning a ride to Desaru in June. I know that the E22 highway is open but does anyone know if the link to Desaru is completed? What's the best route to take? Thanks and sorry for all the questions, but amazingly google doesn't turn up very much nowadays relating to Desaru.

E22 will be linked to desaru once completed, but not sure if is completed. for the resort/chalets think is a good idea u PM those related and ask them.
I see limbs everywhere on the road
Limbs of strangers i have not met
Are the Roads that vicious ?
Or is it just Dangerous ?
Whatever it is, no one can predict what lies on the roads................

i went there about 2 weeks back, the e22 to desaru is completed but yet to open when i was coming back from desaru

may have opened during the 2 weeks.

try to avoid coming back at ard 5-6pm. the jam is horrendous, right up to the kota tinggi cross junction then to ulu tiram
we lane split all the way till ulu tiram before going into e22.
