FC at 100km/ hr is around 30km/L, FC at 120km/ hr is around 28km/h. The windshield don protect u from the wind much, downtown wind shield is better.

it's super chio indeed.... if you get from them it's $11k+ all in....dependingon insurance options/age etc... they are very friendly and professional....all charges typed out clearly... I am bidding COE myslef.... so only buying at machne price...

Love downtown alot, but for a girl, i need to have its seats shaved. If not can't reach the ground.. LOL!

its actually very nice.. and they are using honda engine, heard they ahve one more model coming up, using BMW engine.. but well, just bcos of its brand not many people liked the idea..my cousin actually had a kymco grandink and it never gave her any problem for 7 years. Shes changing to Kymco Downtown 125i too..

by the way, their mechanic guy is very good too... look for the guy called "WEI GE", not the china guy, he really take cares of your bike like its own..

My bike (white phantom below) had been serviced by them for years with no errors..

This might not be the best way... in fact there are defiantly better ways. However, as a shade tree mechanic, this is how I was taught. If you install them so they are tight enough to turn the motor over and not break loose (do not start the motor) continue to tighten them until there is not a gap when the rod is at a its full extension.

yeah.. i think both of us seems to be the iconic white bike lady riders.. haha..

i have sold off my phantom a year back due to a good price.. have switched to driving. But will be getting a bike back for riding soon, so was contemplating about downtown 125i. cos my cousin said the seats are very high..

moreover, i will be getting Sachs Madass for daily transport now, so..don think i can ride that to thailand with you guys la... hahaha...

drive can? haha.. but 1000km leh.. -_-

actually the seats are lower as compared to xciting 300, maybe just need some getting used to. downtown 125 is however more stable as its chassis is using the same as the 300. Ha if u are driving, think can also. At least when pit stop, can hop in your car for some air con lolx

Just delivered my Downtown 300i yesterday.

1st impression, very good ride with powerful engine(althjough I was going at 50kmh-60kmh now due run-in)

comfort indeed, old manlike me needs it.... I simply love the look of the downtown, the more I look at her, the more beautiful she is to me now...haha

1 gripe now, legs could not fully stretch forward like my SW600 previously.

The Kymco agent. Motor Sports really good service. This is the 1st time I enoucntered such good service in Singapore. Even better than BMW. Now must see if the service at the servicing side is equally good.

I cannot find a suitable thread to post my questions, so I'll post them here. I have an old Kymco grand dink 150 which I am not familiar with.

1. My headlight is blown. Can I go to any shop and ask them to change it, or must I go to a scooter shop? I noticed the headlight bulb cannot be removed easily due to all the fairings. How much will it cost?

2. How do I know whether the belt is worn or going to snap? Any shops to recommend if I want to change it?

Otherwise there are many scooter shops like future scootering, Tai Hin where you can find them on this forum under advetisers

For headlight, u can change it any way, most shop knows how to do it. The fairing is actually quite easy to detach. For the belt portion, u need to have it check periodically by the workshop at 7k, 9k to make sure that the belt has no visible crack in the belt.
