There are general 3 types of oils. Mineral, Semi-Synthetic and Fully Synthetic.

Mineral is made from real crude oil, then they refine until you get the oil. Fully-Synthetic oil is oil which is made in the lab. Not from the ground. Semi-synthetic EO is a blend of mineral oils and synthetic oils.

You want, you can google it up more.

Semi-Synthetic or Fully Synthetic....Not that important. As a rule of thumb, Fully-Synthetic formulas lasts longer than Semi-Synthetic. The item that you need to take note is the Oil Viscosity. Older bikes will have more worn pistons than new bikes, thus the need to use thicker oil or higher viscosity. If too thin of Engine oil is used, it will leak into the chamber and gets burnt off with the petrol, which causes you to have to top up the Engine Oil.
