why they go single cylinder?? might as well change my x9 500 's name to x10. its just almost the same. at lease should put twin cylinder. i have tried both twin and single, there is alot of difference.

It appeals to Ang moh usually.
    That's what I discover.
If you are those that like aprillia scarabeo, than most likely you have the European taste.
If you like scarabeo and don't like this design then you are half and half ha ha.

Hehehe, Nice words. But knowing Piaggio's reliability to lcd, temperature problems, meters irregularities and constant cone bearing spoil and engine mounting needed, I hope those words will not also often occur. if not liao.
if not piaggio x's are all very fine machines.

Must see with own eyes and see the storage space.
500cc not appealing unless its like T-max.
Price is cheap sure alot of people will take a look like Xevo.

The front center headlamp looks like a hog's snout and the side fairings flowing form looks like someone's thick mucus that has just been sneezed out from his nose out from a window of a speeding car.

None the less, I would still ride one

I think a well maintained Piaggio can go a long way.

I have a few neighbours still riding their X9 and X8 after all these years. =D

I wouldn't mind trading up to the X10 330cc if the price is right =D. Not many Class 2A maxi scooters that are cheap and affordable.... The japanese, thanks to the high yen, scooters such as SilverWing SW-400T, Majesty 400, Burgman 400 now super expensive....

I do agree with you..If the price of X10 350cc is around 11-12k OTR I would say not so bad.....
Yes the Japanese 400cc Scoot are ex, but their abundant of cheaper spares and reliability......

Model name is 350, but actual engine capacity is 330cc.... Same engine as Beverly 350 (330cc). Haha.

I would definitely wanna consider owning a Piaggio =D They're Italians and they have something which the Japanese and even Taiwanese lack -> Elegant and timeless style =D

This X10 has an updated design that is very refreshing to the existing Piaggio models lineup.

remembering the fuoco 493cc engine was a nice little kicker.
we will expect that this X10 single engine will not disappoint.

but like Mr Biker bro says, realiability and too focus on design and neglecting some machine-human-interface is Piaggio's archilli's heel.

and i always wonder since the 1st time we touch the italian scooter...why cant their single engine be as smooth as the jap single engine...??? i was so pleasantly surprised when i first rode a Majesty 400...the smoothness of the engine almost tricked me to go online to check the tech spec to reassure the newer majestys are not using a twin engine!

Different people (manufacturer in this case), have different priorities, and different talents.

I think Piaggio focuses more on design that last a long time.

As for the Japanese, their design CMI (IMHO). But their engines can last a long time (provided you do the regular servicing of course).
I believe that Piaggio has learnt a lot from their X9 from 10 years ago, and have since improved on their reliability.

Meaning to say, if you maintain the X10 well, expect it to last you for long without problems =D

    Haha!!!

Cool looking bike.. It has that aggresiveness and elegance to it.. And production bikes now tend to look like concept bikes.. I personally love the fact that the brought back the front compartment features again, and from the youtube video the underseat storage looks damn big and spacious..

But on the other hand, this bike reminds me of Judge Dredds bike with the exhaust looking like a rocket booster..!
