No issue. If i bring out 10 AAA batteries, plus some memory cards, i will have 25hrs of recording time. As compared to one with chargeable battery, once it goes flat. Nothing i can do till i charged up the lithium battery.

Anyway i have Go pro hd hero 2 that can run 5hrs recording time at one go. This one is for the helmet where i can turn and record those idiot drivers.

cause i use it daily...so the cost is going to be very high if keep replacing batteries ....if need for long distance riding ...can use the charging cable

watever tat is saved in the memory card stays inside regardless of battery life , all clips are in 15 min blocks and it will overwrite the oldest clip once full ....

Yes you can. They have the charge and record ciggi cable.

Totally agree with you. Thats why I purchase gopro.

Let me just share the little issue i have with non waterproof bike camera. Go Pro hd hero 2 is an excellent bike camera. I am loving it every sec and min. The only grip is it has to be inside the waterproof casing to have 100% waterproof capability. Singapore is humid country, when the camera is used for 30mins and more, the heat generate from the go pro plus the humidity starts to fog up inside the casing.

There are times where my video is render total useless because all I see is blurry vision. No more beautiful clear skies and if i am involved in the accident during these times. I am screwed.

Those handle bar mount and windshield is not 100% stable for videoing either. If you bike engine vibration is strong (like harley and ducati), most of the time you are just recording vibration.

Case in point is


(a) A bike camera that is not waterproof = useless.
(b) A bike camera that is waterproof but cannot record long period of time = useless


Not trying to debate on anything. Just wanna to share my experience with go pro hd hero 2.

I would like to share an alternative camera but it's expensive. I owned a Contour Roam waterproof camera bought online. Same dimensions as TS is selling but a bit smaller.

And what above post says, it's true. Tried mounting on my handlebar, cannot see properly cuz of the view obstruction. (busa).. Tried mounting on my helmet, and I will keep getting a lot of stares I don't know why. I'm a daily user too..

So end up, I mounted on the inside of the windshield. But, there's alot of vibrations. So decided to put a layer of adapter to counter the vibration and works well.

LASTLY, due to my carelessness, one day got back from work and I forget to dismount the camera. As you know it next day tada, magically disappeared (stolen). There goes my camera.

If I were to be interested in this product, I might have to take a look and see and figure out where my next mounting point would be as I already changed to tinted windscreen. TS, and do you have a sample so that I can view?
