Definition of New Tyres
(Up to 60 months or 5 years from the production month)
Tyres stored under specified conditions for periods up to 60 months (5 years) from the production month fully comply with their original specification. Their suitability for use remains unaffected and properly stored tyres are considers as new!
This does not mean that tyres stored under specified conditions for more than 5 years would automatically be unsafe or suffer from a degradation in performance.
For uncompromised quality, tyres should always be stored in a cool, dry, and dark location with a moderate supply of fresh air. Except when mounted on rims, tyres should be stored standing upright. Tyres should never be stored in the same location as fuels, lubricants, solvents and other chemical agents.
Of course, a first-in-first-out storage system is mandatory in this circumstance!
Metzeler and Pirelli motorcycles tyres produced by PIRELLI are considered as new tyres up to an age of 5 years from their manufacturing date when stored under specified conditions over the entire period!

BRIDGESTONE Battlax BT-003 Tyres - PASSION for EXCELLENCE
Bridgestone has sharpened its road racing line-up with the new Battlax BT-003, designed to give racetrack professionals and track day enthusiasts improved handling and faster lap times. Main features include a new tread pattern, tuned construction and 3 types of compounds for smooth to abrasive surfaces.
Improved handling
The new Battlax BT-003 is a homologated full-race tyre for a wide range of bikes, mainly for track use. Derived from Bridgestone’s MotoGP racing programme, it has three compound options and a ZR rating with W speed range.
Compared with the Battlax BT-002 it will replace, the BT-003 brings overall improved handling, better grip, significantly reduced front-wheel chatter and a unique Type 4 compound option for extra stability on less abrasive or bumpy tarmac.
More grip, less chatter
The front tyre (120/70ZR17) with Type 2 (hard) and Type 3 (medium) compounds has a cross-belt construction, giving racers superior grip in the full lean angle and the opportunity for higher cornering speeds. Type 4 (medium-soft) has a mono-spiral belt construction, providing better braking grip and a greatly reduced chatter level.
On the rear tyre (180/55ZR17), Types 2 and 3 provide superior large camber grip on abrasive tracks, while Type 4 with its softer compound and flexible construction gives a more compressed sensation, helping less experienced riders to feel more secure.
Stability on bumpy tracks
Rear tyre190/55ZR17 Types 2 and 3 have a rounder profile than the BT-002, with a taller tread height and more rigidity, giving much stronger traction out of corners. Type 4 aims for more stable handling and extra traction on low-abrasive or bumpy tracks.
The Battlax BT-003 is developed in 70 series size for the front and 55 series for the rear These track racing tyres should be handled and stored with care, particularly at low ambient temperatures. Bridgestone recommends the use of a tyre warmer before racing. Available as from April 2008.

I'm riding a nsr150 sp and thinking of changing my rear tire to this >>> BT39 120/80-17.
Is the branch @ Toh Guan selling it at $130?
My bike also missing some screws (2 faring screws, RC valve nut & washer and an exhaust mounting bolt). Can I buy them from you?
