IMO the service slack alot already. Last time when Ah San havent left yet Clifford was doing bike with passion.
Now popular already he seem to be rushing to complete the servicing of the bike.

Ah San as in the one currently @ Sanfu?
How to identify Clifford? How many mechanics they have there and who is who? Comments on each of them?

I did my servicing with K & T since I got my VFR. I got to know him since I got my Pirelli's Diablo Corsa at BikeTech21 and Clifford install those tyres.
I have found the prices and services to my satisfaction and would recommend his shop anytime to anybody.

Clifford will be the one who wears a blue overalls...
his two assistants are Ah Chin (quiet guy) and Ah Hui (very friendly and approachable).

I have been patronising Clifford since I started riding. Great service, no hidden costs, friendly and approachable.
However, he did tell me not to publicize his shop on the forum because he is already too busy to cope with the current customer base. He said it will be very bad if he has to turn away customers because he's too busy.
Ah Chin is actually quite good. There was this other young chap who left. I haven't really talked the new guy yet. I used to buy them coffee when they are working on my bike, or help them buy lunch.

Hi,
Clifford has been handling all the bikes I have owned since 1992. He is a reliable mechanic who talks sense and no bullsh*t. No hidden charges and surprises when you get your bills.
Some, especially the younger bikers, might consider his charges expensive, yes, there are a little on the high side sometimes, but what you pay is what you get. I have read many post here by the younger and newer bikers complaining about how expensive certain shops are and that they can get something done cheaper elsewhere. These are the riders who will eventually have problems with their bikes. Why? Because of the miniscule savings they are after, they go about running around looking for the "best" deal for their servicing or repairs. Yes, they might save $10-$20 here and there but there is no continuity in the bike's service or repair records. I have met many of these bikers and all I can say is.............they have a lot to learn, in terms of customer loyalty and mechanic's trust.
Just for those who are unaware, Ah San from Sanfu was formerly working for Clifford. Also, I believe that if Clifford does not have the tyoe or brand of engine oil that you require, you can always buy it and have him sort it out for you.
From,
OMD

i started sending my bikes to him for servicing and repairs since '97 after i was introduce to him by my colleague...
clifford or 'botak' .. as i usually call him back then was reliable, friendly and skillful. charges may be teeny wee bit high but you'll be satisfied with the end results. i have no complaints so far for him ....
shop to send ur bikes to .... i trust him with my bike anytime.
