Finally got my Twister yesterday.
Rode 30km home. The bike feels kena small when I sit on it, maybe it's coz I'm so used to the XR4 which I've been riding for the last 3 weeks.
The handling feels superb!!! Very nimble and the trottle is responsive, went to 80km/hr with ease and without realising. Will whack further once it completes running in.
One downside thou, one needs to constant change gear to have the umph!! feeling.
Will post pix soon.

hi bro, how much you pay for your New twister? thinking of getting one, still comparing between Twister and Bajaj 200.
what are your needs?
riding the bike for a long time?
different bikes serve different kind of usage
if wanna own a bike for a short time 3-5yrs
get a super 4.resale value is high
if wanna get a bike for long long time
get a low maintenance class 2B or a 250cc single cylinder bike is always a better choice.
the new honda cg will be launching soon.![]()

Thanks for your advice, have saw the new cg picture, fierce and modern look like the cbf, but since have a cg, no point upgrade to another newer version. thinking of getting a slightly more powerful than Cg cos feel no power when pillion so thinking of getting a new bike with bigger slightly bogger cc. Super 4 way out of my budget.
have you ever seen people driving a toyota corolla and change a corolla again and again?
have you seen people ride S4 and change S4 again and again
answer is yes.
if you feel the machine is serving you the most basic purpose.
what for u need to upgrade?
more power more $ wasted

actually my dad is one such person...he changed 3 hyundai sonata back to back...haha.. I couldn't understand why oso.
anyway..got mine for 6500. otr. inclusive of everything.
like wat tony said...Super 4 more shiok...but cost of twister is half of s4. Depends on wat u want.
For me, I just want a bike for commuting purposes, easy to maintain, and can cruise at 90km/hr comfortably.

haha...I dunno about the power of cg...never tried b4. As for phantom, dun really like the riding posture, my bro has it and it's now in the carpark as a "go market bike" for my dad.
But like i always tell my wife, ride R1...red light oso got to stop. Drive ferrari, kena traffic jam oso stuck.
Most importantly is you are comfy with ur ride and can afford lor.
this twister is a nice ride.
engine oil 1L,correct me if im wrong.S4 need 3bottle.another 700ml if change filter
spark plug 1 pcs.some more can get $3/pcs.S4 need 4 pcs.1 pcs around 10+
of course S4 is powerful and good ride.
how about the tire profile?is the tire ex?
the twister however is
just like a 2B 150cc with extra power of 100cc more.
buy a 150cc also cost around 5k.good deal for this.
pricing of 6.5k otr is good,is 40% cheaper than s4

Still haven't change EO yet...but if I not wrong...should be 1.2L coz of the oil cooler.
Tires..think use the same as Super4..hence depends on wat you wanna change to.
As I'm still running in now, haven't really tried the power yet...but overall responsive, provided you are in the right gear.
travelling at around 90km/hr at RPM 6K. Handlebar starts to vibrate once RPM hits 7K. Will monitor further and update.
tires same as s4 not smaller?

haha...I read somewhere b4...uncle, ah pek, encik.... they ride all bikes. I seems them on Harley, R1, CBR1000RRR, Ninja, GSXRRRR, B-king(batman). And I know a uncle (62yrs old) who owned all 5 bikes I've mentioned. damn happening.
But then again...i belong to the down to earth, slow, practical Uncle-to-be... Engine can start, and get me to point A to B and then B to A. Good enuff.
Btw...updates...Pump petrol today...milage around 30km/litre.
Young at heart, dont CARE what others say, as long as you like your bike and do what you like to do, just like Tonychan who total facelift a Honda CG. One will eventually become uncle then ah pek.

did any one can tell me how much the bike ? how is the fuel consumtion ? and made in ?
thinking buying this buy ... thanks alot ...
It feels good (and nostalgic) to be back at SG Bikes Forum after 2 years of break.. And after 4 years of Phantom, decided to change to Twister 10 mths ago..
My feedback based on my experiences with it so far:
FC: 30km/l
Machine Price + COE (10 mths ago): Abt 8k
Country of Make: Brazil
For exact specs, pls do a google search on it.
My take: Agreed with some bike mag reviews that this bike is durable and sturdy, yet nimble. The real power and torque kicks in when in lower gears like 1st and 2nd only, but it starts to lose its "push" especially in 4th gear and above.. To me personally, it's like a small bro to S4 and minus the h-vtec haha.. Though it will of coz eat bigger bikes dust, still it wun be far off behind as it can keep up relatively fast oso.. Meantime, I'm looking around shops for "mods" (legal) for my twister.. Quite hard to find accessories and enhancements for this bike, as this model is not popular in SG and most distributors do not bring in accessories for this bike, unlike the ever-popular S4.. One last thing for my personal views only: It's definately less theft-prone than a S4, parts not as ex as S4 and overall looks also not so eye-catching.. Thus, if there's a twister and a S4 parked side-by-side, and if I'm a robber, chances are very high than i will "kope" the S4 :-)
Which model of the phantom yourode previously? 150 or 200?
How does it compare to a twister in terms of handing and pickup?
Dec 2003 - July 2010
Honda Phantom TA 200
July 2010 - July 2012
Honda Super Four Revo
July 2012 - Current
Honda NC700S ABS
Previously I'm riding a 4-stroke phantom, not 2-stroke. In terms of pickup, of coz Twister will thumbs up over phantom. I've yet to see a phantom (even a 2-stroke version) overtake me at traffic light if i choose to full throttle. For handling, twister is somewhat comparable to S4. You can "cup" corners pretty low, though have to be careful becoz stock tyres are not as gripping as S4.
Another bro asked me wat's the top speed of twister on straight road, is the eo 1 bottle every servicing, and fc around 30km/l? Based on my own experiences so far, the highest I can hit is 140km/hr. I'm sure can hit higher than that based on what i see at youtube. eo is 1 1/4 bottles for every servicing. and yes, fc is around 30km/l (and this is even after frequent hard throttle).
Thanks. Wht about the drum brakes behind? i think the twister lacks in the braking dept cos the rear is a drum brake. Will tend to be prone to sqeaking noise. correct me if i wrong

Front's using Disc whereas rear's using drum. So far so good for the braking, though I haven't got the chance to do a e-brake before (thank God for that!!)
For those of you wanting to see how it looks with a box behind, go to google images and search for some pics. I've checked and did come across a few of those pics showing the bike with a box.
For myself, my bike comes with a 42L box when I bought it a year ago. For those of you wanting to put 2 helmets in comfortably, I would suggest you get a 45L one instead.
Check the link:
http://www.singaporebikes.com/classi...t=1689&cat=all
Or else, can customize with mototiam.
Mine is Kappa 42L. It comes installed with the bike when I bought it. Previously i used Givi on my phantom. Still prefer the latter tho..
me intend to sell my cbf150 to (not sure is it upgrade) twister, looking 4 better power,is it a right chose
anybody here wanna buy GIVI simply E450 box together with the plate? condition like new 9/10. Pls SMS me at 93524279
tks 4 reading...
Just went to replace headlight bulb for my twister at MotoWorld. Since there already, might as well do some shopping. Realised that there are few local motordiams that provides aftermarket products/mods to this bike, which well, I can understand since this bike's not popular locally. Anyone know of any shops? Legal modifications that is...
