Default SBF Kymco Downtown 125/200/300/350i Cafe 2013

    Hello guys.
Just bought a new Grand Dink 250x.
Seems like no one bought a bike of this brand? Am I the only one?

I bought second grand dink on 2004. There's no spare parts change for 2 years. On June 2006, my grand dink sold to my friend.

The parts for kymco is cheaper than piaggio. For acceleration, kymco is better than piaggio X9.

I sold my grand dink because I change to Xciting 500

I think X9 better for grip, also suspension. But many problems with X9, like LCD, water pump, etc.

But for my kymco, never problem with parts. Until I sold the bike, I'm never change the parts. Spek Plug only.

    what is your budget?

what do you need the bike for? transport with lots of space?

good pick up? easy to manouvre?

kymco bikes has the best fuel consumption of all scooters in the house. but in terms of engine performance and how smooth the engine is ...... it lacks in that area to those like majesty n forza. but hats off to this bike...... its very reliable

Hi. Congrats. Thanks for the link. Did you buy the Dink 200, Grand Dink 150, or Grand Dink 250?

Am just investigating the GD 150. My license is going to be class 2B so this is what I can make do with for the mean time. I'm a bit curious about the name 'dink'. Look at the meaning for this word:

I have got a Dink 250. I saw a new Dink 200i - feul injection, just arrive there. You can go to their shop and take a look when you are free. I test ride the Dink 250 first before I decided to buy.

Thanks. I work near the Looi Motor at Kaki Bukit. I'm going to give them a call and see whether they have any in their showroom.

I test-ride the Dink 200i that day also, very impressed with the fuel injection. When you are there, test-ride their bike, they are OK with that, they dont pressure you to buy.

Finally got a quote for the Grand Dink 150. May I know why you choose the Grand Dink 250 over the Dink 200i? I think the draw for Grand Dink is the size of the bike, the storage space, right?

I chose Grand Dink 250 because it is second-hand and higher cc. No Dink 200i
    second-hand in the market yet.

If I am going for new bike I will chose the Dink 200i as it is fuel injection and the price different is not as much compared to Dink 150.

I went to view the Grand Dink 150 and Dink 200i just now. You are right. The price is about the same. After viewing both bikes, I think I am more or less decided on getting a Kymco. I like Grand Dink 150 because of the bigger size and bigger storage. There are three colors to choose from, silver, metallic red, and metallic dark blue.

The jet black Dink 200i looks good too. Even though it is smaller than the Grand Dink, it is not much smaller. It has a digital speedometer. The storage is slightly smaller than the Grand Dink. I am going to read more about this new model.

My conclusion based on exterior design and feel is the Grand Dink feels luxurious and Dink 200i feels classy.

I just bought a resale Kymco GrandDinky 150. Was riding a Kymco Apex 150 for a few years. Comparing the both, I love the new ride. Even took my pregnant wife for a few rounds

Anyone with the same bike type wanna form a riding group?
