Stock i think is about $60 i think did't change before. When i got the bike i immediatey change to K&N. Only cost me S$70- and 2 months of wait. Got it from Mah Motor Parts oppsite Sim Lim Tower.

Changing EO is the same as other 400cc. XJR not included cause only 2litre.
EO onli 3 litres filter every 2 oil change. Honda ones can use. But prefer stock or K&N.

OFFICIAL, you mean ZXR400 can use CBR400 oil filter or many other ones? Or is there a particular model number for it's oil filter? Price about?

Get K&N... it is better and cheaper in the long run. Tricky bit is you can't get it off the shelf, got to order. Oil filter is common size... I always change them whenever I change oil. U can use Honda or any after market ones with the same size. Never used their so called original ones cos they tried to charge me $25 for it! Crazy!

U can pretty much order from anybody... even LAB, provided u can catch ah boy's attention at all, haha... other then that it's everywhere else. mah motor lah, motoworld lah.... i think motoworld distributes K&N, so you might get it faster?

Now... my screen is old, yellowing and scratched... anybody got any idea where I can find an aftermarket one that looks good? Any lobang? Or anybody got spare ones? It's hard to believe but our buddy il4 told me he bought the last one in singapore.... aaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!

and oh..regarding the screen... I found a webpage ( overseas) for you...maybe useful? It's a double bubble screen type...comes in different colours too..maybe you want a green colour one to match your green Ninja but damned..it's gonna cost you 78 pounds ($235 including delivery chgs to SG) for that piece of plastic

Of cos u could put a slider... FF helmets in my opinion should be your priority, spend on a good one. It's a life saver! And make a diff if u become a scar face or not... haha

The FF I'll probably get a MHR lah...and basic gloves... I'm not a racer..but if I become one later..then I'll get better equipment

In fact..I always like to stop by a particular motor shop that mods fibre glass fairings for VFRs, RVFs, CBRs to give them a slick tail
Never did ask them how much to mod...but I know a CBR400L model with a moded tail costs about 80000baht (S$3480) with license plate and slightly cheaper for a bike with no plate..
so maybe mod the tail is abt 10-15k ($400-$600)? Is that ex? How much they chg in SG and JB???
The screen hor...if I have a solid piece...I might be able to get it customed made at maybe S$50 or cheaper with Acrylic...how much to buy an original piece in SG???

CL-14 is about S$160 ~ S$190 depend on design.
There are about S120/- ones but i recommand CL-14. Personally has 2 of them and saw someone flung off his bike exiting a turn on track and hitting head and all. Not much damage done to the brain section but bike gonner.

Singapore will be first Motor. They issit on me leaving my bike behind when i told and gave measurements on what to do. Was told by people that they ichy hand things off bike.

Not everything in Thailand is cheap lah
If you ride a Honda Wave (or Honda Dream100) then you can mod cheaply cos everyone else can do it...
if you ride sports, then few ppl doing it and they chg high prices for it

Thanks so much..I don't really understand all...but I'll go search for more info on rocker arms and inlet and exhaust cams! As for the laden sag, I need to feel the bike first before adjusting...haha...
And yah...I'll use fully synthetic oil. I even used it for my Daystar last time..as it improves smoothness and fuel economy while better maintaining the engine.

Haha...not surprising cos the ZXR400 likes to reeve so much...the rocker arms must be moving at super sonic speeds when the rpm meter at 12000...whahahhaaaa...

Bro... the only time u would ever get to see those arms is when u r going through a major overhual... something u won't want happening during the lifetime of your ninja.

So besides figuring out those parts, remember a good warm up is also crucial to the amount of material fatigue your engine suffers. Start your engine, do not rev, let it idle for 2 mins b4 moving off. And when u finish your ride, remember NEVER to rev engine and off ignition. I know a lot of people out there r doing it, but it's not healthy to your bike, DON'T do it.

Don't ask me why, becos that would involve a whole lecture of Thermodynamics, Applied Mechanics, Enthapy, Enthrophy blah blah blah which I was told I need to do a masters b4 I can fully comprehend WHY?

for the bike that cant revv when it is warming up izzit bcoz the material of the engine lyk the cam , crank n those bla blah stuff is still cold so when u revv u u heat up very fast n so u create a thermo stress to the internal of ur engine .. wat i noe is those material in our engine cant stand thermo stress , if its very serious (long term), maybe it will crack ... is it true ? then when u were sayin abt the rev liaos then kill the engine ... wat i heard in my class 2b time is to flood the carb , for easier to start ur bike later ... is tis true ? sry if got spelling mistake ...

...a cold metal if revved is subjected to higher stress fatigue. It takes a while to warm up, for the metal to "stretch" internally, before u should strain it. An abrupt kill to the engine is harder to explain... but just imagine if u are doing a hundred metre sprint and u r stopped dead on the spot, how would your muscle feel? and errr.... instead of flooding the carb with petrol, it's more like flooding the combustion chamber with unburnt fuel, carbon and bad gas, hohoho...
