    In particular:

    Magnesium single-sided swingarm
    Swingarm support plates in magnesium
    Lower steering base in magnesium
    Marzocchi 50mm forks with legs treated in titanium nitride
    Front disc brakes (310mm) with aluminum flange

    Engine:
    The Evolution engine adopted by the Brutale range boasts some technical differences with respect to the F4 engine range. These modifications have been introduced in order to obtain a more torquey engine whilst maintaining benchmark levels of maximum power (127hp).

    In detail, the variations are:

    Distribution with different timing
    Final drive ratio 14x41
    Oil radiator instead of exchanger as with the F4
    Cooling system with a single radiator
    Manifold fixing system with X type flange fixed by two stud bolts instead of four
    Exhaust system with double sliced silencers

    BRUTALE
    ~~~~~~
    As the night brings out our most hidden dreams, a new illuminating concept is born: the Brutale. A shining light. Dreams become emotions that reach the peak of pleasure. There is no explanation. The Brutale speaks a provocative language that rebels against conformity and look to the future, with no filters or interference. It is pure stylistic expression, without comparison. Unique like is voice, a vibration that awakens the senses.
    BRUTALE 910
    The massive 9.8 kgm of torque and 136 CV are echoed in the incredible exhaust note from the four-cylinder, radial-valved engine. The proverbial lightness, manoeuvrability and style remain unchanged. The Brutale is a defiant combination of technical design and artistry. 910: Magic in motion
    BRUTALE S
    Noble descendant of the Serie Oro, the Brutale S is the most popular MV AGUSTA. Available in the classical MV AGUSTA Red or alternatively in the aggressive opaque black colouring, the Brutale S concentrates all the technical features of the Serie Oro, offered in a more affordable manner thanks to the use of less exclusive material and to mass production.
    MV Agusta Brutale 910 R
    Earlier in 2005 MV Agusta launched Brutale 910 S. Only a few months later the new 910 R is ready. A month ago we reported that the bike existed and also the performance figure of 144bhp. This is a lie. The 910 R still has the 136bhp engine as in 910 S. However with race exhaust MV Agusta claims the 144bhp figure. This was evident when we picked up the press kit in Milan. However, there are many other very nice upgrades that separates the S from the R. What about the black forged Brembo aluminium wheels, new top spec Marzocchi 50mm RAC forks (RAC stands for Road Advanced Component), hand polished inlet ducts and Brutale customised radial Brembo calipers around Brembo aluminium discs. The new Marzocchi fork is the first on a production bike and the fork legs are Tin treated for smooth feedback. The mono shock at the rear is a Sachs fully adjustable unit even featuring high speed/low speed adjustments. On the brakes department the new Brembo calipers are customised with the Brutale logo on the inside (look at the picture of the front wheel and you can see the logo) and the radial adaptors are made exclusively for MV Agusta. The brake and clutch lever are still the special built Nissin units that can be micro metrically adjusted. The engine has one new feature and that is the hand polished inlet ducts. But a new racing exhaust is now available to boost power. We assume you can purchase this racing exhaust for your 910 S as well for a somewhat smaller boost in power. 910 R: Max power: 136 bhp @ 11.000rpm, 96Nm @ 7.900 rpm. Dry weight: 185kg, petrol tank: 19 litres. Claimed top speed: 160 mph. the Brutale 910 R was voted the EICMA 2005 public favourite.
    I'm considering getting one. The reviews say it's a blast to ride. What's it really like? Almost as important, is it viable as a city ride (comfort, squeeze through traffic, manouvarable)?
    Sorry, I got lots more things to ask about this dream machine.
    How much is this beauty/beast? I know the 750 cost around $35K w/o COE & insurance. Care to post some pics of your rides?
    Hi,
    Yes it's a blast to ride indeed even in urban traffic
    Its been throughly reliable so far (2000km). Suspension is a bit harsh, but its tunes for a sporty ride and the suspension is adjustable so you should be able to soften it if you need to.. The powerband is very linear and throttle response is instant. It feels like an angry little bike to ride! Also the induction noise has to be experienced.
    Its selling for $33,800 (machine price). Joe from Sporting/Mah just sold the last red unit so you might wanna let him know what colour you're keen on so he can import it in
    Cheers
    Nice information and picture ianho!
    $33K machine price for Brutale 910? Brand new? How come the 750 costs more man? Maybe my price information is outdated.
    Really an exotic bike you have there. You're one lucky guy!! More pictures if possible hehe. Can never get enough!
    It uses the Ducati 1000DS engine. And its estimated to cost (In UK anyway) around the same price range as a 999R. ie 70k+
    Good luck trying to get one.
    Hi Rob,
    Its Mah Motors @ 1179 Serangoon Road. Tel : 6295 6393.
    They don't have a display piece currently as all 5 units brought in have been sold.
    I understand that the next shipment will include the F41000 Senna, F41000 R and perhaps a 910R as well..
    Cheers
    Hi Ian,
    Thx so much for your information and sorrry for thelate reply! That's then Sporting, if I am not mistaken.
    I am still pondering whether to take a brutale now here in Singapore or to wait till I move to the US in two-year's time as apparently they're much cheaper over there...
    Have a great day!
