Saw this bike with a malaysian plate few months back...read it on Motor Culture Asia Magazine that it is coming to town...no mentions on the price though...YAMAHA seems to have THE killer look with the new gen bikes...sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

I just went to Alexandra Village. The machine price is 5.6k and is fuel injection. According to the salesman that the full tank is 10 litres and will run up to 500+km.

Bought this bike. Feels good, smooth ride. Been riding for 2 days now.

Its sound when I start up make me fall in love with it instantly..silent and fierce.

Looks great too. Its a 2B fazer actually, as told by Yamaha dealer.

Fuel injection is the new stuff in motorcycles having to replace carbs, and utilizes electronic sensors to pump fuel n air mixture according to the riders throttle action. Carbs depend on pure physics.

Can feel the "injection" when u open throttle. Like the bike is swallowin the fuel. Haha.

- Tubed tyres
- Foot-rest is not spring-loaded.
- Drum Brake on rear wheel.
- Not for speed thirsty riders (roughly bout 140km/h max)

But no matter, I'm happy with the bike!

Should be faster than 140 km/h.. at 130km/h rpm only @ 8.5... it only goes RED after 10 so i think should be able to go faster..

AND im very happy too! maybe can share2 our views and etc...

First Tank clearance *10.5L* Got 350 KM
2nd Tank clearance *10.8L* Got 378 KM
3rd not yet will post NEXT week i guess...
(Based on how much i need to top up until the TANK *vomits*, its 12L when full btw... )

find this bike very nice! saw 1 at raffles hotel sometime ago.. 140km/h max speed is good for a 150cc bike! as long as the engine is not screaming when cruising at 90km/h i think its ok..

The bike is quite loud by nature... and nope its not screaming @ 90km/h and its also fine all the way till 110... but with most small bikes it'll start to vibrate or 'fly' abit beyond this speed. Its meant to be a street bike so shouldnt be a problem ryte...

I also did considered the Pulsar but what can i say when i see the bike and i heard the engine it was LOVE @ first sight and sound . And i must say i LOVE this bike alot!

Impossible the FULL tank of the Pulsar if im not wrong is 18L dats 6L more than this bike. IF it has the same TANK capacity it would be possible. The FC is roughly 37KM plus or minus depending on riding speed. Can go beyond 400 on one full tank never tried MAXING it out though but maximum tried is 420KM still have balace scared no oil den kena push....

Just my 2 cents worth on the above questions. wat about the rest wats your take? im not an experienced rider arh so cant say much except what i "THINK" and observe so far... As more FZ150i riders clear their running in im sure there'll be more inputs. And once we have a healthy number FZ150i riders lets meet up... hehehe

haha by cruising speed i'm referring to like the speed you go while on expressway la, like a speed that the bike can comfortably maintain while on highway? i was over at the pulsar thread, they said theirs ranges from ard 90-100kmh, depending on individual rider..

Yeah, like the sound of it... quite loud for a small bike. And FZ is kinda light too compare to pulsar....

Cruising speed around 90-100km/h i guess... my bike still running in. Hit 100km/h before but scared to test the bike to the limit....

Got to go back to fix the rack & box next wk, will be getting the new "slim" ICU another 2 wk too.
Running in at max 80km/h now, 800km to go back servicing, then another 1000km/h servicing after that can whack le man! LOL, hope wouldnt lose to Phantom 150cc on road.
Cant wait to meet all the "Fazerian"(u all lor) out for supper soon !

Ya Hafiz, I asked ah boy & lavender area le, they said probably the "chong" pot belly(engine guard) for the bike will be out next mth($30-60) but the "puke"(original) one is out. Maybe getting a rear maguard(can see in my display pic) too as the inner rear rubber sheet guard looks as if will tear easily. Care to company me bro? = D

I didn't fix any box on my bike (at least for now). There is a storage compartment underneath the seat, but I think store 2 packet of cotton buds no more space liao... hahaha.

ok i got a kappa box 42L... other than the under seat which is damn small there is no other place to put anything and dat too is DAMN small. and yeah this BIKE IS AWESOME!!! GET ONE and see for yourself!
