Guys, just received a notification to renew my insurance.

me 24yrs old
w/ 6 years experience

Ban Hock Hin (current insurance provider) quote me:
nv claim before but they only give me 15% NCD
after discount $940.42 for TPFT

how come suddenly insurance soar?

is there other insurance company to recommend?

Damn it. i just realized why my NCD is only 15%. because when i buy the bike, MAH motors did not transfer the 20% over for me so i started out with 0% NCD. then subsequence year, for some reason i thought i had 20% but was just told last year i had only 10%. this year is the third so i get 15%. Mega WTF siah. the 900+ quotation is from Liberty insurance, which i thought they only do big bikes like Harley and so on.. which also would explain why they charge so high. just called ANDA and they said chartis is 597 with my 15% NCD which is the cheapest so far..

Just renewed my tpft insurance with msig. $520 poorer now. Dun quite understand how come mine so ex. 30 yrs old n licence more than 10 yrs n never make any claim before. Hope will have to pay much lesser once hit 31yrs of age.

Direct Asia insurance so cheap sia? When there is a claim of dispute or accident, will they take very long to settle for u?
I got a quotation from ntuc 3rd party @ $300 plus. Ntuc nowadays got mobile orange bike to help u when accident occur. Quite a gd service!

Anyone tried directasia insurance? I am thinking of getting it. The third party fire theft they quote me online is only at $305 per year with 15% NCD. Seems too good to be true. I am getting a super4 spec 2 in 2 weeks time! Trying to find the best deal.

I did a quote wif them at $272 and ntuc at $274.. 3rd party. Decide to go wif ntuc as I believe it easier to claim. Maybe u should check out ntuc 1st to see the difference..

The longer u stay with an insurance company, the higher your NCD will go... At least 1 year no claims to get 10% NCD. If u keep switching companies, u got 10% NCD for all companies but they don't add up. Stay with a company long enough, you'll get the same as me, 25% NCD. 23 years old now, $330 for third party insurance for my cbr 400 rr... Considered cheap for me already, compared with another idiot who check with his insurance company and they quoted him $700+... Jump companies no NCD never mind, same age as me but I don't know how he can tell me his insurance premium is $700-$800 when mine is only $330... Lol

across all insurance company the max NCD is 20% only the additional 5% is either loyalty discount or the ntuc ride safe course discount. for directasia i wun recommend as i got a not so pleasant experience with them before.
