u sure can wash it...best is to apply air filter oil spray so that it'll enhance the dirt trapping after washing...

u try near the bike shop near a petrol kiosk at clementi ave 2 heading towards ginza there if not u can head over to clementi interchange there opposite, theres a bike shop under the block facing near the AYE

I duno is it due to flat battery or some other parts spoilt : ( I charged the battery at a workshop today, it read 11V on the voltmeter... i elec start is, it didn't give the using "zhng zhngg zhng..... starting sound" , instead, it give just a single "click" sound, whats wrong ah???? i also need to renew my road tax liao!! i dun wanna tow ... anyone can offer some solution? or stay near sengkang can help me take a look? A million thanks and supper is on me !

Check the relay @ the battery. Maybe its spoilt.

Normally full service mean > belt, rollers, u-shoe, engine oil, oil filter, gear oil, spark plug and transmission servive. < u will need to do it at about 12,000km

Normal service > engine oil < i will perfer to change my engine oil every 4000km max, as i would want to protect my engine in top condition.

I'm not sure where the relay is .... the horns n lights r working though? It is really first time i encounter this. The elec start i press, just give a single click sound. Dont tell me i need to tow ..... sigh!!! help!!

Starter relay located on the right of the batt.

Start gear may also cause on wat you mentions

It might link to a few reason, I worry i might confuse you. i suggest you get it check by scooter shop @ kallang ave Ind centre? >> Taihin, sunrise, futurescootering, etc

My bike last time also will back fire very badly. have try to trouble shoot a few time with bike shop. have change the gasket @ the end can, retune the bike, and some other things. None have work. The best part is 1 shop tell me pipe leak and ask me change to aftermarket pipe @680. Haha. lucky never change. else the backfire will be worst off. Since then i never go back to the shop.

Finally 1 person help solve the problem by tighten the nut near to water pump. Never have hear my bike backfire since then.

Little back firing won`t harm the engine. But constant back-firing...... not sure.

I just don`t like the Pop pop pop sound when ever i release the throttle.
Even can go very loud when i release and open throttle.

But now is so silent. Kind of miss the pop pop pop sound.

Any oil leakage below bike? suggest you bring the bike for thorough checkup by scooter specialist shops @ kallang ave Ind centre.

U mean suddenly no brake.... but did it respond back after you pump the lever?

This happen to me before few yrs ago and i did bring it up to agent, at the end, no way to resolve. Normally it give way when it is too hot, but good things is only 1 side will happen, the other will still be working.

it depend which way you coming from..

if you are at lavender st, Singapore Casket on your right in front the T-junction, turn left, Keep right straight and turn right ( road name Kallang Ave), on your right about 200m you will see a gate, enter and that is kallang ave ind. centre, cheers

but i'm rather concerned about the maintainence costs...
i have a breakdown of the costs, correct me if i'm wrong.

once it break and drop into piston.. TaDa overhalt engine = $1XXX

You need to tell him. He won`t know how much you have travel. Max i seen when it break on a X8 is about 32k. He required to change the valve, head, carb and piston(chip @ corner). He spend about $1XXX

Bro, i think original FU plate got no EVO model.

Belt, rollers and U-shoe = 12, 000km
Engine oil recommended only fully syn = $20 - $30 > 4000km
Brakes > depend how you use > est. 15,000km - 30,000km
Tyres > recommended michelin Gold standard > est. front 35,000, rear 16,000km
PLug, change every full servicing

the bike looks quite cui at the moment, but the sales guy say he will do until good good, den sell to me... yah...
