Thats right mate.....I was there for some time on Saturday.

    The bike is great......

    The best bike I,ve owned.

Although I did buy a new GSXR 750 J in 1988.....that was great also, until someone stole it and smashed it, I got it back in boxes. Broke my heart.

I have owned my Street Triple for over 2 years now and covered about 17k km on it. It's never broke down and I haven't had any trouble with electronics.
Maintenance costs are similar with a Japanese bike.
Parts aren't as readily available for the bike, apart from the usual service items (all available) I had to wait a week for an indicator lamp to be shipped in (out of stock at Mah).
I,m not sure about difficult to sell off as I,m yet to sell it, all depends on the expectation of a good price.
The bike does warm up quickly but doesn't run hot, so I'm not sure what you've heard there.
I have had a stalling issue about 10k km ago (at idle ), but was sorted at Mah, the throttle bodies were cleaned and a check on the fueling was done. It has Zard slip on silencers on it, so not sure if that was anything to do with it, buts not missed a beat since.
I do use the bike everyday, rain or shine, and I always look forward to getting on it and going.
    Great bike.

Actually, looking at the new shape lights on the new bike, they really do look like they belong in a fairing.

I prefer the older shaped lamps.

Hi, I'm currently overseas but am coming back in a few months. Thinking of getting a street triple. Besides Mah, anywhere else I be able to find one?

    Tks.

Hey all, just thought I could sell my triumph street triple stock rear shock here. Got it frm US for use on my bike, a Yamaha.

It ended up increasing my ride height by quite a bit. It's taken off a 08 street triple. Very good condition.

Do call or SMS me at 94234461 if interested. Thx!

Default Engine paint bubbling on st3

Hi, has anyone experienced the engine casing paint peeling on there street triple or speed triple? My 1 year old street triple is getting more and more bubbled but not peeling yet. Anyone approached Mah? Appreciate your feedback.

    Advice required.!!

My Street R has Zard end cans, approved by MOM with a certificate.

I need to take the bike for test this week, but today when cleaning the bike I noticed that one of the decibel killers was missing.

Anyone put their Street with Zard end cans through the test without the decibel killers??????

I have found some material at work and will make my own DB killer.

Been riding the bike without them in and the difference it makes to performance is amazing. Bloody loud though.

    hi all,

does anyone of you know where to get the lowering kit for street triple? Cuz I just bought the bike and i have to tiptoe (I'm a female) on one side so it's kind of dangerous. Saw online but they only sold in US. Anyone knows of any places who sell in singapore? Thanks.

Just get some monster boots, you'll look the part too.

You can drop the forks down the yokes, but this will make the bike steer quicker up to point of slapping over bumps.

    Hi guys

Am considering getting a street triple and just need to decide if it's worth spending extra for the "R" spec.
Main difference for me is the front brakes being 4-piston radial calipers as opposed to 2-piston sliding calipers, not sure about the stopping power for the stock brakes or should I invest in "R" spec for better stopping power.
Adjustable suspension not really an issue as I don't see myself adjusting it much anyway.
Would appreciate opinions and feedback from current or previous owners, and recommendations for reliable workshops/mechanics for this bike.

    Cheers!

Hi bros.. am hoping to join the RATS soon if I'm welcomed in the meetings...
Haven't got myself a Triumph yet though. You see, I'm in a dilema

    Street or Speed triple?

    I'm 5ft10, almost 1.8m... lean frame.

I'm very happy with the power torque and grunt the 675 offers. (good)
Also it's maneuverability is awesome for traffic riding. (good)
However, the street felt a little short? cramped? for me... (bad)
It's footpegs felt higher/cramped than the speedy's. (bad)

I felt more comfortable on a speedy, comfortably stretched out (good)
Have never got a liter bike before, dunch know if I can handle the weight (???)
Using bike as a daily commute, I'm afraid the speedy will get too hot...
engine paint bubbles... mre difficult to in btw cars in traffic... and lastly..
I'll never satisfy the speedy's need for speed. (bad)

    good good...bad bad...good bad bad good..dohh

Any Street/Speed rider to gimme a tip or two for Eureka!! ??
BEST if u're about same built as me...

So help me God, so help me RATS
