if there's no storage, how you guys bring ard your rain gear, coupons and necessary docs without installing a box?

thanks for your help bros!! (:
    This one Im also wondering!

Cos I took out my ''tool pouch'' and then realise how much of a benefit it would be to just have it on.

Quite hard to understand what you are trying to say in the last few sentences.

Its the link plates that are rusting. I just use a towel cloth soaked with engine oil and rub off the rust.

You need to use proper chain lube for the links of the chain. Please don't be like those Ah Beng shops which like to apply engine oil to the drive chain as chain lube. All you get is oil that gets flung all over the spokes and rim and under tray.

Drive chains that are not lubed with the proper chain lube will end up getting kinked and damaging the sprockets.

Its really cheaper to spend some money on a good chain lube than to replace the chain and sprockets as set.

Marchesini rims I got them from Motoworld thru Unique Motorsports.. Price wise is worth what you are paying for.. Read my FAQ for more info on tyres and rims..

The integrated fender and headlight mask was imported..
No shops are selling in SG..
I'm selling my set at Garage Sales.. Let me know if you want it..

IMHO..the chain oiler thingy is only for lazy people who don't know how to do simple maintenance on their own bikes.

How difficult is it to spray chain lube on the chain when it needs it?

Does not make sense to me to save the hassle of lubricating the chain but spent alot more time cleaning up the rims and spokes.

    Totally illogical in my books.

i lubricate my chain, one link by one link..

jacked it up, cleaned it and spray chain lube one link by one link..
the hassle of going thru it's very worthwhile, it lubes your chain and maintained it in working tension for a longer period of time..
a good chain lube will not fling off during rides..

i also dun like my rims to be dirtied by oil..
furthermore, if the oils gets onto my tyres, I'm in for a jolly good ride when i corner left..

my chain and rim after washing and lubing..
    It's a almost 2years old chain, and i've only adjusted it 3-4times..

I clean my bike every fortnightly..
cleaning it frequently allows me to scrutinize and do checks on the serviceable parts..
you never know maybe your EO is leaking, chain retainer/clip had already flew away, or even your brake pads are already worn out..

as mentioned by Raptor, oilers are for lazy ppl which in the end spent more time cleaning their rims and spending more money when your tyre lose traction on a left corner because you fed it with oil..!

I saw bitting point bike b4, made me so ashame of my dirty bike that i went home to clean it, haha. For those that like me, is lazy to wash ur bike, i suggest u don ever park urs beside him. The showroom condition will shame u so much that u might wake up in the middle of the nite and go and wash ur bike. . .

Try not to use aftermarket clutch plates. Get the OEM clutch plates.

Some aftermarket clutch plates tend to be thicker and will result in clutch grabbing and difficulty in gear shifts.

But... then again....its your money, your bike and your call.

hi guys! i did a stupid thing last 2 days. -_- my whole key set is still on my handlebar lock keyhole and i didnt realise it was still there when i turn my handles so i broke the key for the handlebar lock and the whole tail of the key is stucked inside the keyhole and i'm only left with the head of the key. -__-" anyone know how i could get it out or will any bike workshop be able to mend it? just take out the remaining key and do a new key for it maybe?

Ask the seller to bring the bike down to my workshop. I check for you.. free of charge.

Tell the seller that Raptor wants to check out the bike and listen to the engine for you.

If he dare not bring the bike to my workshop..... don't buy that bike.

There is an FBC plated black DRZ currently at my shop for sale.

It has a FCR41 carb, aftermarket full system exhaust, Brembo master pump with Braking oversized disc and Braking caliper on the front. STM slipper clutch and the engine has been ported and has Suzuki factory race cams installed.

Its a damn fast bike coz I have raced against it before.

The seller is asking for $11K cash.

You can view the bike at Blk 2 # 146 Kallang Ave Industrial Centre or call me at 96661159,

Im getting about 155 - 160Km before hitting reserve.

    Is this the norm?

Im running on octane95, LV slip-on, 3X3 Airbox mod.

I used to get 180-190km with same setup before I went to rejet and tune cos there was alot of popping when downshifting.

Or am I just getting too comfy with the bike?!

What do you guys expect from your poor DRZ?

The only way to stop lean backfiring caused by putting on freer flowing aftermarket exhausts...is to jet the carb richer..ie bigger jets.

Bigger jets = more fuel flow = greater consumption = your current situation.

I used to have 240kms before reserved when on my stock carb..
now i'm looking at only 150km..

Well, the FCR is justifying the petrol consumption!!!
I would have immediately sold my bike if I had to switched it back to stock carb for better mileage..

    fun to be there........
anyway,i did some rejetting on my stock carb (i dun think i need a FCR as i dont race)there and was very satisfied with the outcome...

Even my X1 also which died on me the same day,i send to his workshop.Blk 2 # 146 Kallang Ave Industrial Centre or call me at 96661159(Raptor),
also did gather some info from raptor as im a noob with the Z's.
