What if the thief steals the CCTV installing in the vehicle as well?
    Isn't that a double whammy?
Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

hahas, the police are referring more to cars..dam..frankly speaking i believe no bikers leave or left their gps hanging even if it was parked in a bank multi story car park..unless private estate..it just make our heart jumping non-stop..why didn't they mention about FF helmets where some are much more expensive than a mid range gps..always car priority..saddening..

edit 1 : hahas bro, it'll be cool if thief steel cctv and biker has a external memory stored somewhere..dam cool can!!

I reckon he the DSP meant also install CCTVs in the parking areas. Anyway, on a tangent, Be careful: the CCTVs (even in HDB MSCP) can only view one direction. Not many pan. So if you want a record of the theft, check where it's angled and park there. A brother of mine returned to his bike only to find it lying on its side. He lifted it up and it sat lower than usual: His GSX-1000 rear suspensions kena curi. 4 bolts. that's all. it took. He asked HDB to review the video and they said that the camera was facing the other direction ... goes what? ... in the direction of the cars. haha! bloody car centric again! It was a painful $2K+ experience.

Four bolts to get $2k. Less than 5 min job to earn $2k. Why didn't he use security bolts since it is so easy to steal?
