    I have been wondering if those desert buggies or go kart like cars like the Atom are legal in SG.

    There is a road legal VW buggy running around in Singapore which looks something like this




    This buggy was registered in the 70's, and under present LTA rules, such vehicles will never make it on the road now

    Owners are being required to turn in their titles and plates, despite being completely legal in the past. Imagine building or buying a kit car, such as a Meyers Manx dune buggy, driving it legally for years, only to have the government tell you it's no longer legal and demand that you turn in your title and plates
