Hi Duckling. Yes. There are alot of aftermarket Exhaust for this bike. Full system i am not too sure about it. Hope that helps. Cheers!

Are you able to fix aftermarket pipes with the panniers on. If yes what pipes/which model?
I'm probably going for the all black. Now left with all black or black/red combo. Dunno which one nicer with panniers on.
As it's a new bike, anything I should note of from the bike shop?
I thinking of doing a hard running-in. Anyone did that with their 1000sx?
First things to add would be the protection/sliders. Any recommendation?

Hi there. For the new 2014 model, the red color is awesomely nice. And side panniers comes with the bike. I suppose the 2014 model does not allow topbox fitting. For the frame sliders, if you got the budget, could go for DMV frame sliders; else R&G frame sliders would do it as well. Yup. We have some members who did the hard run-in as well. For exhaust system, there are a variety of end cans available on the market. Hope that helps.

I bought my sx 1 month ago. and did the hard run-in. Its runs really fast now. haha.

Mine NZ1000SX come with a Lowering Kit that pre-installed by previous owner, i unable to get the original dog bone online...

Can someone please help me. I bought my bike and paid for insurance etc early this month. My bikeshop said that the bike is still waiting for LTA approval and not ready for collection yet.
It has been about 10 working days and i am still waiting. What exactly is this "LTA approval" and how long does it take? When buying new bike, what documents do you sign etc? Is the sales agreement sufficient?
i have the receipts for all the payment i made.

Hi there. Normally u will pay the downpayment , insurance and road tax and the terms and conditions to the bike shop and settle already. Not sure about this LTA approval. The bike SX is already approved by LTA already. Roughly takes about a week? Hope that helps.

LTA is not doing their job well. Oh. Well. Then i guess needa wait slightly longer.

It's probably the inspection that you are waiting for. Not big problem la. just ask your bike shop to keep u updated

Its normal. The engine is hot. Imagine the engine is hot and water is splashing on it. Haha.

I'm getting about 15 - 16 km/litre so far.. mostly riding around the city and I tend to be a little more aggressive in moving off.. maybe thats why haha.

Stock tyres are actually very sticky in good weather for me. But wet surface tend to slip a little when cornering.. so better play it safe
