The SUV wanted to change lane so moved towards the edge, the white line, but car in front is slowing down and also the truck is coming at full speed and hence the SUV stopped there. This rider, seems to be concentrating not in front but may be the rear and wants to overtake both the car filming the video as well as the speeding truck, end up he didnt notice the SUV had moved to the edge of the lane so banged it.

Yupp very scary to split lanes after seeing this. Hope the rider is ok

if the lorry on the left was slower, the rider would have gone under the lorry. Can see him ricocheting off the lorry's side.
    but it's scary, nonetheless.

Question is, why does the rider (and many many other riders too) need to lanesplit in such conditions? Traffic is moving along at good clip, no conjestions.. totally avoidable accident...

the lorry was at the right place at the right time. the rider could have been under the lorry instead, the lorry "helped" the rider to be bounced to the front of the stationery SUV.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,
torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Question is, why do drivers love to tailgate even when its not congested? Then in case of one reason or another, can't lane change in time so congest one lane.

Drivers here pay such high COEs that once they get steering in their hand, they feel they just bought a ferrari and that SG roads a perpetual F1 tracks and they think of themselves as nothing less than Michael Schumacher

High COEs is the cause for the arrogance.

Rider tends to split lane most of the time even when traffic is quite smooth as seem..

Lorry driver most probably not a rider himself or else might have a anticipate..somemore seem driving quite fast..

seem a serious crash, gd for him if he does really managed to stand up

HAHAHAHA. High COE cause of arrogance. Its funny . YEARS YEARS YEARS AGO, there was an issue whereby ACS student wearing super expensive shoes to school became the hot topic. i guess, those same student must have grown up and are the same ones who bid high coe prices.

I don't hope he is OK, but hope he can learn from this accident
It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.
