55 year young newbie buying a ktm 350excf -6 days........advice please.

Going to retirement end of this year.......so my company says........i am thinking of
taking up trail riding and buying a KTM excf350-6days for starters......( retirement fund helps).

Any advice?, who to join?, where to join?....etc

Yeah, that would be interesting. At least most of us will be creaking and aching in the same way.......
Not many legal places to ride in singapore. Wonder if the green corridor left by the vacated KTM railway tracks can be ridden......

In my group there are also handful of more matured bros riding all sorts of bike.
1 just came back from Tibet 28days trip on a BMW GS800F

When you ride....it helps you to keep fit ... ^_^

I am 57 and taking part in the Open 250 MSS races with a Honda CBR250R at Sepang this year, am actually the oldest participant there.

I believe if your passion is strong enough, age is never a factor. I guess when time is getting shorter, you got to play harder.

On facebook there is a group "SG Dirt Riders" request to join, they also have organised rides for newbies too...
