Im riding kawasaki zx kr 150. I want to change my standard footrest to racing footrest (pop domino) legal?
If they close one eye, it's legal. If they don't give chance, LTA will summon u for illegal modification. Lol.

What's the reason you want to change? If it's more comfortable, just change it. Heck the authorities

When i bought my SP, already have yoshi racing footrest liao.Dunno inspection will heng heng pass a not.
But my friend recently sent his FZ1 for inspection with racing footrest, he passed. so..... poh heng suey lor...

Btw, road tax inspection not as serious as LTA road marshal inspection. LTA inspection, more likely to summon u for the footrest if they can't find any other thing to summon.
I know this prolly has been said before one million times, but summon for more comfortable footrest is stupid.
They want summon for performance mod, i nothing to say, but summon for things that improve rider comfort, is stupid.
Another thing is, they summon tinted visor, but if u wear clear visor with sunglasses, ok, no problem... what logic?
They say tinted visor if use at night, can't see anything, so summon. My horn is electromagnetic snail cone horn, louder than stock horn, they summon me for installing air horn, $30. Say later elderly people get heart attack. Lj one la. They just make up excuses to summon u. Why I don't put stock horn? Simple. Because the stock horn is so loud that I can't hear anything even on my own bike. So how can I expect drivers to hear anything behind their waterproof doors and windows? So I change to a horn that I can hear. Also cannot. Why the lorry horn much louder than mine but I get summon, they don't get summon? I rather pay the $30 fine than pay $3000 hospital bill la please... Stupid officers nowadays. Just don't make sense to what they say. Lol.
True. My current horn sounds like a weak goat. Would want to change to a louder horn so those road killers wouldnt have a chance to kill us(make them aware of our presence) almost kena banged, side swipe by them. But they cant hear my bike horn when they are about to do so. Luckily im riding a 2-stroke bike so i use the pipe sound(open throttle ah!) as my "second horn"

Back to topic, i think it all depends on the person who is doing the inspection checks for you. If he follow law then confirm not approved. Like others said, usually close one eye ar...previously my 125z was fitted with racing footrest, send for inspection n passed
But changed back to stock after afew weeks. Coz didnt feel comfortable. But now having the urge to change to racing footrest hahaha like shiok only lol *fickleminded*

Lately have anyone pass their inspection using racing footrest?
Where can i get a racing footrest for my sp 150?? Soo hard to find. If you guys hav any idea where to get please reply asap. TIA!
