P plate sticker

I have heard from someone that it is illegal to use the p plate sticker, and therefore you must use the normal hard plastic p plate.. Is that true?

do you mean the P wording or the triangle plate?

sticker can be used on windscreen on sportbike...i guess?

I have never seen a single bike with the entire P plate on the front honestly. Everyone use sticker on the fender or above the headlight. How to mount the whole plate to the front? The front of bike is curved and the plate is flat hard plastic. On the back still ok cos can use screws to secure to the licence plate.

When i got my bike from the agent (Dirtwheel) they fitted the P plate for me and both front and rear was just the inner portion without the plate. So far so good although technically I've been told that they can fine me for improper display of P plate.

as long as you got display prominently, nobody will actually bother you. 'technically' you need to display roadtax as well, but then again, nobody will bother you too

need plate meh? i read the regulations only say need to display the triangle leh.. nowadays most bikes p-plate is pasted

Depends on your luck. Lta bikes on the rise. Not worth the risk

I cut away the white border leaving just the triangle and yellow background on the plastic then use mounting tape to stick it on. Never had any problems with it, even at inspections. The requirement is the size of the triangle, not what it's mounted on.

By the way it's a $120 fine for no P plate or tampered P plate. No points. First time fine, second time licence revoked.
