Rare bike. Usually people rather pay a bit more for a sportster

you mean the iron 883? Errr this bolt cost more and has better suspension , ABS, electronic and engine. No thanks. i tried the 883 and other HD and they are not suitable for daily commute. Weekend ride still okay

The heavy clutch makes it tough at low speed handling

Imo there is no comparisons between Bolt & Sportster in term of comfort, technology, electronics & handling...just my 2 cents

Hi tomdick12! I have been riding a r spec for 6 months... I cant really make comparison with other models as every bike has its pros n cons... individual preference.... for me, no regrets buyjng the r spec!

Hi, I have the 2017 bolt.

Regular servicing is 3.7 litre EO every 5000km, I use Mobil 1 20W-50 V-Twin full syn ($30 each bottle)
Recommended valve adjustment is every 20000km
    Spark plug is about $23
Belt driven, so no oiling needed

For more technical spare parts like the belt and electrical parts, best is go to hong leong, most shops won't have them.

Feel free to ask more questions
