About to start Class 2 - wondering how SSDC is
hello all,
Just about to start my class 2 lessons in SSDC. Wanted to hear how was your experience booking slots.
Are there many to choose from? Did you guys have to wait a long time between lessons?

Lessons are about a week apart. Except maybe for assessment lesson which takes slightly longer. But test dates are about a month wait. Which seems to be the same across centres. Have fun!

Thanks thanks! Have started now my lessons and that's also my experience now. Took Lesson 1 twice just cleared it now yesterday.
Looking forward to Lesson 2 ... but there I have a 1.5 week wait...

Coming from another driving school into SSDC, I realised that the circuit is more complicated than what I am used to at CDC. Have lots for lorry and car (?) parking...
Any one here knows if on actual TP day, will there be cars and lorries in the circuit?

Next month then can start. I taken my 2b at SSDC and so far during TP only small handful of cars and lorries but is still manageable.
I may report to CDC as heard good experience there.
Lorries and cars will be around during TP. But qte a number of parking lots will be closed off during TP.. so will be much easier

hit 2 immediate failures - bike stalled on bumpy and my leg dropped.... and I made a right turn in front of a lorry...

Just started on SSDC class 2. Just failed my lesson 2 and had to repeat. Lesson 2 is about fig 8 and crank course with test route memorized.
Failed because of bumpy drop twice which never happened in my lesson 1 sigh.. repeating again. Oh did I mentioned I rode like a horse in fig 8 but instructor failed me because of bumpy sigh..

Anyway, yes, lesson 2 is quite hard to pass. Just think of it as practice for lesson 3?
Good thing is - wait for TP and SSDC Is faster. My Friend taking lessons in parallel at CDC had to wait 7 weeks!
I went to SSDC because of faster TP. I think when I took my 2b at ssdc, the instructors for 2b seem more approachable than class 2a/2 instructors..
Well hope next lesson fig 8 and crank is more stable and then bumpy no more drop... Good luck I guess you had cleared L3 and waiting for TP?
Bike handling
Hi all, am about to start my class 2 journey too. Understand SSDC just changed to Honda nc750 L? How’s the bike? Think one think I have to manage is handling the weight and power of the bike. Once can tame these, negotiating the obstacles shouldn’t be an issue.
Same like when I took 2a lor. Can’t get use to the power and sensitive throttle also. Throttle abit will go off course or veer off the ramp. Sigh...
any feedback abt the class 2 bike?

Just enrolled in Class 2. Haha.
The NC750 is ok. Probably takes a lesson or two to get used to it. And that is for me who is moving from a Vespa. People on the CB400 didn’t actually find a different from a power and weight perspective.
