Wanna post my 2B SSDC journey here, got 2b in the army and was at tp stage at CDC till my membership expired.

Enrolled for 2b on the 4th of jan and went to complete my orientation, lesson 1-6 the next 4 days. I can say that SSDC is much more better than CDC.

Practical 1

8th January
Excited to learn again but wanna clear fast. Listen to the instructors and showed them what they wanna see, went up to outet circuit and gear 4. Had to repeat cos they said i wasn’t good in my brakings.

13th January
Straightaway went to outer circuit and practiced my long and short braking distances. Passed in the end. Lady beside me took 5 prac 1, felt bad for her. Thought i could book a prac tmr or what cos i’ve been refreshing. Next one would be on the 19th of jan.

wah stay out is it or on leave haha, just be confident but not cocky and go with an open mind. dont think you got class 3 you know everything, what they tell you to do just follow and learn, also important is show them what they wanna see. they wont hold u unless you can ride. all the best!

Practical 2

20th January

Sold my slot for 19th and got 20th instead. Circuit was pack this time, always irratated with the cars. Passed on my first try. Hopefully i can go for practical 3.1 tomorrow, please someone sell it to me! haha

Had to retake 6 cos i didnt do night riding.. waste money but whats more waste money is failing 7. I knew i didnt do well cos of the bike. Do not take row 7 bike 60 something, biting point was far and easily stall, gear shifting is ridiculous because sometimes it would stay at N after so many kick downs/ups and handle to turn felt really different. Dont believe me go and try it out. Got so many points cos of this, felt like my CDC days again ������������

Hopefully i’ll fare better in my next one, will do a RR before so i can secure a good bike. Right now waiting to clear lesson 5,6,7 and RTT on thursday. After which if i pass my RTT and 7 then it’s finally TP!!

Failed my first prac 6. The route was easy but the challenge is the traffic conditions. I agree with you bro some of the bike really cannot make it one. I also got experience before kick damn hard already but still go neutral. Some even when downshifting never go in gear then no choice at traffic light have to move the bike front and back abit then put right leg down and shift gears. Did this few times before but instructor seem to not mind... maybe they know also the bike not as good? But anyways cant say anything to them lah they confirm will say skills not good la bla bla bla.

Prac 7 is 50dollars is it? I heard from my friends too that failing prac 7 is the worst heart pain hahaha. For prac 7 they follow new test standard or the usual old one?

I also gonna go for my lessons 5 6 7 soon bro hahaha when you going? Hard to find the perfect timing man in ns.

Prac 7 was $58 for me on weekends, $54 on weekdays. I dont know whats the difference between the old and new standard, all i know is TP implemented the new standard during test. Prac 7 starts off with Defensive Riding, then to Road Test Route and then Circuit. Quite different from CDC cos it was Circuit then Road and that's it. I just finished my lesson 5-7 today. RTT on thursday and 7 on friday. If all goes well..

I'm a super noob here and I've just enrolled online for my membership (I've not even visited the centre yet) :/

I've got a class 3 license and I read somewhere that I can be exempted from BTT. If so, am I allowed to apply for PDL only after attending theory lessons 1-6 or can I do it before? I don't see the timetable for Rider Theory 5 - 7 anywhere on the website?

How soon after completing Rider Theory (5-7?) can I book my evaluation and TP test?

1. Can apply PDL already
2. Theory 5-7 is manual booking, during theory lessons 1-6, the instructo will arrange
3. You can do the RTT anytime before sitting the TP (but after completing all the theory classes, of course)

IF is indeed unlucky. For tp just do the best and bare minimum requirement.

Theory can go anytime after enrolment. Lesson 7 is book on the spot after Lesson 6 (remember to pay for it)

Thanks bikeninja. I'm at prac 7 now. Is it true that we must take cr and rr? If not they will fail you. Or what your advise should I go for cr and rr or just book prac 7?

OK booked rr and cr before my lesson 7. Hope can pass In first attempt.. Up to now has spent 700 altogether including the boring lessons. To all taking 2b .good luck to you guys too.
