*****************************
Parts needed

-1m tubing $1.50 (size not sure because I bring a sample tubing from my carbtuner)
-2x nylon T-connector $2

I got the parts from the hardware shop across the street of the screw shop near Ah Boy. Sorry I can't remember the shop name.

DIY postpone to next week, as I am going for a 1 day trip to Malacca on sat, sunday I'm working.

You want to see all my switches, they are all need and tidy.

The 4 way carb equalization mod is very easy to do, take less than 30min. Just cut tubing and connect will do. I plan to change the connector to the plug and play type to make it look more pro.

Next DIY session I show you how to change the needle, you might want to get some stainless steel hex cap screw to replace the oem phillip head screws, more easier to dismantle the carb for cleaning in future. If you want to change the needle on your own, I suggest to take out the carb to open the black cover, there's a very tiny o-ring which may fall out and lost when the cover is sprung open by the spring.

I mount my horns under the ignition coil on each side, near to the cam cover side, which fall in line with the bike frame, not too bad. I took more than 3 hours to plan the mounting place and do the wiring to make it look neat and tidy.

Nope, you have to cross the street, directly opp the screw shop. Its on the left side second shop, fully glass window.

I want to get the transparent type but they only have the black one which is quite hard.

Yes, just remove the cap on your carb and join them all up, so the vacuum will be the same all across the carb whether its the intake or exhaust stroke.

You dont need the hose clamp at all because the tubing is tight fit, unless you afraid it will pop off. It will be expensive if you want to get the fuel line, $10 per 1m, which I feel is not necessary because the hose is for vacumm only.

Use two lengths of hose to connect cylinders 1 to 4 and 2 to 3 separately. The benefits from this setup may be nearly equal to the more complex four-way manifold. <-- might wanna try da easiler way.

S750WP: Btw u saying across da street, issit regina ( take it as da left side ) or da right side ( which is Behind LAB kopidiam ),whereby got 1 row of shop, selling hardware wan + 1 shop selling screws.?

Use two lengths of hose to connect cylinders 1 to 4 and 2 to 3 separately. The benefits from this setup may be nearly equal to the more complex four-way manifold. <-- might wanna try da easiler way.

S750WP: Btw u saying across da street, issit regina ( take it as da left side ) or da right side ( which is Behind LAB kopidiam ),whereby got 1 row of shop, selling hardware wan + 1 shop selling screws.?
The screw shop is behind the kopitiam, under the multi storey car park. From the screw shop, cross the road walk straight to a open car park and you will see 2 rows of hardware shop. Look for the one with full glass window, not the corner shop but the one next to it.

Hopefully I dont get you confuse, I still have left over of the tubing, sufficient for one bike installation, you just need to get the nylon T connector for the 4 way mod.

If you want to do the 1 to 4 and 2 to 3 set up, dun even need to buy the T connector at all. Just plug the tubing across the carb will do.

Like my tank is pressing on da hose like tat.. anyway this is it.

You dont have to use the T-connector if you connect 1&4 and 2&3 together. I cut my hose a few time until everything swee swee can fit in nicely.

I did the 4 way mod.

I just installed my belly pan RM$10 and bought a clutch casing vent stainless tubing RM$15 from the shop Lcbear intro in JB.

Also my yoshi in JB now, the boss can repack the fibre and repair my yoshi (no need to rewrap) However I told him I want to fabricate a connector to switch between yoshi and stock end can, he say he couldn;t do it. Yoshi will be ready for collection tomorrow.

DONE THE 4 WAY EQUALISER MOD. ENGINE WAS WAY SMOOTHER AND MORE RESPONSIVE AT THE LOW END. I USED FISH AIR TUBES AND VALVES TO REPLICATE THE MOD BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THE HEAT IS GETTING TO IT. WILL CHANGE TO THE FUEL HOSES TML.

I suspect its your float bowl needle valve stuck with dirt, the 2 way or 4 way mod has nothing to do with your petrol leak.

It could also be the float bowl drain screw fallen out, happen to me once and I use some twigs to stuck in the hole and rode it home, the twigs still able to hold the leak for 3 days before I went to motrshop to get replacement.

I went and collect my yoshi already, the boss whack the hell out of my yoshi, hammer, grind and saw, now the end portion now looks slightly deform and the screw cannot be screw back. Very rough handling, cannot compare to Seng Kwang, but no choice the yoshi carbon all stuck inside . Paid RM$35 to repack the yoshi.

After seeing my yoshi in such state, I half hearted to install on my bike

I was removing the sleeve to repack the exhaust but it was stuck and I damage the sleeveat the edge.

The boss hammer the sleeve out saw off the damage portion off, drill new holes, change the fibre inside, reassemble but cannot fit. Send pipe to machine shop to machine but still insufficient clearance, then he just whack the sleeve in, the exhaust tip got distorted as a result and holes are all misaligned. Then he dremel the hole bigger, hole are no longer round and misalighn therefore cannot put back the screw. Sad.

Cool a B12 rider, seldom seen this bike on the road. I was wondering did you perform the general servicing e.g plugs, engine oil, oil filter, coolant, air filter, brake and clutch fluid after storing it for 1.5 years w/o riding?
I did not know time flys so fast. Took out my bike and 2 days later flown out of Singapore again. Just return 2 weeks ago.
Ya, I did a major servicing then when I got it out of storage; even change a set of Metz tires Roadtech 6. Cost me close to $1k and I did not even had a chance to enjoy it. Well, my pal enjoy it for me.
Anyway, got to travel soon so thinking of selling it off. If anyone is interested, please contact me.

Here is a sample of my ads:

Relocating overseas soon, so selling my lovely bike. FU plate, registered in Jan 2002. This big muscle GSX 1200 has similar engine like the Bandit 12. It is metallic black with bright chrome Hepco Becker crash bar. Very well maintained with low mileage (I kept it in storage while I travel so often. I also drive to work)
Selling at $8K. Road tax is paid through to Jan 2006. Price incl. 1 Nolan helmet, glove, BMW ridding boots and best of all 1set of Dannies touring suit. All in Gore-Tex.

Cheers!

$7 !? tats cheap.. 1 wheel got 1 bearing or 2 bearing?? Coz taken from old post...

(Wheel bearings are pretty cheap. Round $50-60 to replace front and rear wheel bearings. Steering cone bearing might be shot as well....$85 to get it done )

Now recovering from injury , after i will wanna fix my wheel bearing, jet needles, Carb floats.

Issit true tat i can get Denso Sparkplug U24ETR @ FJT for $4 !??Coz CR8EK from LAB is $7 per piece..

Bandit 1 time Engine oil change is how many ml ? 2300ml or 2800ml w/o oil filter
