oversize doesn't mean better flow, if his engine never mod, using oversize pipe will worsen the performance. The top end will be more jialat than original pipe

Yeah, less restricted flow can sometimes reduce the tourqe and worsen peformance. If the flow in and out of the engine isn't balanced then there is little point. He changed the cdi, carby, mod the airbox and after some tweaking the performance was significantly better than stock.

totally confused at the moment. My friend says he wants it after he passes his TP (2nd June, fingers crossed) so if so I'll sell it to him so I know it has a good home. Still considering if I should sell the CBR150 and get a DRZ400 motard as a daily ride. Only wanna have 3 bikes and the DRZ motard can be used for daily riding and fun at the go-cart track and PG and then I have my KTM for dirt use and the RS which is my cheap track bike.
It's not the best motard, kinda low on power and a little heavy but it's reliable and elec start unlike XR4, WR4, KTM etc. so it makes a good daily rider I think.

Retlaw> there is a place where you can get new Sonics darn cheap. Not mah, loois or excel though. And they come with chrome spoked rims and sh1t tires etc. No ERP though.

Actually Sonic just make nice nice can liao, dun need to mod. In Singapore, i dun understand SMSA, how come 4 stroke Sonic must race togethere with 2-stroke bike.

yeah. Anyway, I was told that it&#39;s basically because most cubs are very simple air cooled 4 strokes with 4 speed boxes whereas the sonic has a 5 speed box with closer ratios, it&#39;s water cooled and the full length front forks and rear monoshock make it handle better than other cubs so they say it has an unfair advantage. Still waiting for e Raider150cc to come to SG. SUPERCub&#33;

hey mate, did i saw u at yishun trak yesterday?

yep... disappointing day. Rode way too fast up the slope to enter the "track", launched myself into the bushes/shrubs/trees and broke my brake master cylinder clean off. My friend and I pretty much determined that it was due to the previous owner mounting the rear view mirror directly to it and it gave too much leverage in the fall snapping the mount. =(

wrap some teflon tape on the bar before u mount the perch
and tighten it just nice
not too tight.
