To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment

I also thinking of learning Muay Thai too.

But no motivation cos alone and a bit pai seh, cos I quite not-so-young liao and also with a not-so-fit body (luckily my mind still quite okay... hahaha...), then thinking of going to learn at the age of past 30s.

Sekali go to school, all young boys, then I only uncle there, damnz pai seh sia....

Also, I checked on the net...

Think the few schools in Singapore are in the East side and the Hilltop one at Farrer Park also like quite far away from where I stay (Queenstown).

Then I surf the community centers website, think there are classes at Clementi CC, but not sure about the details, cos haven't got time to go Clementi CC to check it out.

    Any "Westsiders" interested?

Think if go together, then got motivation.

If go alone, sure to lose the motivation after a few sessions... hahahahah...

I love it too. But oni manage to join recently. Last time young, dun have any chance. Finally i get my chance. But sometimes i feel that i'm too old to achieve anythin in martial arts except that to learn somethin new and get healtier and lose my fats. Wish i had such chance when i was younger.

Initially wanna learn MMA, but after joinin muay thai, i fell "in love" with it. Haha. Will try to add some MMA knowledge in future too.

Btw, me and seahmh will be discussin when to attend the trial lesson, will update u once everythin is finalised.

Agree with Prankster. No offence, but guess Fight Works Asia (FWA) is too far away for West-siders like us... hahaha...

Like i said, initially i wanna go for MMA...

There's tis sch name EVOLVE. Its so damn impressive when i 1st saw the web and their blog. Its really like a big family there. But den, from the web, i kind of get the idea that the place is more for the rich. Not for poor pple like me.

I tried callin to ask for prices. But was told to come down for a trial 1st before discussing about the price. N i was aso told that i had to go thru the trial for them to access and see whether or not i can be part of tis EVOLVE family.

In the end, i nv went for any trial. Coz in my heart i noe that its way beyond my budget to join them. Coz they have the best trainers, the best gym with the most proper facilities.

So i started my own search for other MMA gyms... N i was offered a package at a sch without MMA, but muay thai, and there when i started, i "fall in love" with muay thai.

    Haha...

Bro, i saw that web b4. I dunno who is tis Bia coz i nv go and do any research. But its actually quite expensive for me. Thrice wkly for $220.

If Fight G is really not up to my liking, than i would definately prefer my old sch which is set at $200 per month for unlimited sessions and i can go every nite after i finish work.

Btw, thx for the intro. Hope u have fun trainin there.

I will inform here on which sch i've decided on upon completing a trial at Fight G. If u r interested, u can join me and and Big Bro Seahmh.

Boss, you no need to learn Muay Thai already can "kill" with your bare hands cos you so fit liao... hahahahaha...

Ok, I will contact you when we confirm the timing to go fight g for the trial session.

The plan now is for Bro prankster and me to go for the fight g trial and see how it is first.

If place really too small, then we may go back to Mr Prankster's old school.

SGD 200/month for unlimited sessions, I think...

But most likely we going on a weekday night after work, you free??

Also, if you ride your "fierce eagle" out, must wait for me hor, cos my scooter sure cannot catch up with you one... hahahaha...

Hmmm... Yes bro, Fight G is somewhere near there. My visit there doesn't really leave a good impression too. But the price is attractive, thats y. Wanna check out the training there.

    Bro Prankster,

Since the review for fight-g is not so good, shall we consider about going to your "first love" directly and not waste time going to a place where the review hasn't been that good??

BTW, there is another Bro "sky" who PM-ed me. I have replied his PM with the details.

I have surfed the websites of a different schools.

With the positive review here, seemed like the "Hilltop" school is good, but not cheap.

Actually, that is wat i've been thinkin aso. But the price at my "1st love", issit ok for u guys? I once asked b4 regarding the payment. Wat i was told is, pay online thru their webpage, and u can start on that day itself, and they will charged it to ur card. But they wun charge 1.2k one shot lah, they will charge 200 per month on ur card instead.

Than 1 more thing, for beginners, its not worth it, coz u pay 200 per month, minimum 6months, but for the 1st month like that, u can't really go for unlimited. Coz u have to attend around 8 lessions to learn some basics 1st b4 u can really go for unlimited. Somethin like that. I dun explain well, but hopefully u get the idea.

Btw, my "1st love" BNM has changed to Vandaboxing. No more BNM already.

Hilltop is good. N its around havelock area too! Haha. But the thing is, its not cheap, and its more like for those really professional fighters. I'm not too sure aso lah.

2 me, i find that Evolve should be the best around in Sg already.

    Hi, scramblebike,

Thanks very much for your advice.

We are definitely going to do what you said and not jump into the SGD 1.2K straightaway...

I was just kidding about no money to pay the SGD 1.2K even if they want to take... hahahahaha...
