  1. Hi jleo. how's life. Me still riding this iron horse, bought coe extended to another 10yrs bike still running well. Did all the necessary repairs such as replacing all the bearings and maintenance to prolong divvys' usage. Yes most buggers have moved on... some new guys or I say buggers convert it to tp look-a-like add on fairings and spray white. I still maintain the original silver colour which I'm comfortable with...time to time thought of changing my bike then again why start back paying instalment all over again where the current bike still running well. 2. How is things, going on, I'm after a long break. I know most of the old birds are no longer in this forum had either left or sell off their bike to younger potential riders.
  3. How are you guys lonnnnng time no see or hearrrrr from you guys...
  4. Hi BoyBulance, Suspension is a must for you and it's a right time you've changed by the way you have a regular pillion, does make the differences for a long distance stable riding and (corner)controls. Not all shops carries the EBC brake pads for our bike, get the pads first before doing up the 3 disc's. Steel brake hose is made to measure, reason to compensate the extra length for the (TP)handle. or can get from motoworld "swage line" slightly longer. silverghost

  7. Hi BA, You should have get the case without the foam and save another US$10. I got the 1300 case for my compact cameras about S$90+ including p&p with foam. anyway how you going to fix it. Are yo going to drill 2 holes and use the quick release bold? (those bold use on some sports bike and cars) Silverghost...
  8. Hi Uncle, Long time no hear from you, I thought you permanently migrated to China and married couple of woman from different provinces... Yes it's true what you say but I have no problem with Motul 20-50w double esther blend synthetic oil. It's just only a try-out of this european oil. As for me it is normal to warm up before any ride. This is the feedback, I'm passing to those divvy buggers who are interested to use this oil. Silverghost...
  10. Hi BA, Nope I did not poison you, the pelican box is simply the best application for our bike and the quality speaks by itself you felt in love with it..... ya! How much you got it- locally is expensive X2 compares to ebay usa, is it from the ebay or what 1500 case should be around US$107++ excluding postage/shipping. Silverghost...
  11. Yo! Buggers, My verdict on the Agip 20-50w synthetic oil warm up is a "must" as the oil is on the heavy side of viscosity it need to get the oil to the top head. NOT RECOMMENDED for start and go the engine feel heavy. After warm up it is good for high revving and the engine felt lighter. Let see how far can it can last. Those buggers' side pannier's, "plastic holders" the small thingy plastic that holds the box and the cover had broken. It can be replace by a wire and a slug which can be bought from hardwear shop not necessary to get the original which is too expensive. ( 4 stainless wires and 8 slugs all in $5 ) good luck. 12. Hi BlackAngel, There are two holes at the front end at both side for locking with pad locks, so no locking issues. This cases can get locally but 2x the price then getting it from Ebay itself, there are few colours to choose from. Silverghost...
  13. Yo Buggers, I know, someone is looking for a small box that can mount at the back rack. I check out ~ there are some box you can modify to mount. Genuine Pelican Cases air tight actually for camera hard plastic can withstand rough handling (1200 pelican case small, 1300 pelican case medium and 1500 bigger ) check out at ebay usa selling at US$40+ and another $40 for postal- the total cost calculate to be below sing $100/- Silverghost..

  15. Hi Pekingman, My advise is try to stick to one brand if possible the reason is: each brands have their own additives which effects the engine performance and seals. Car engine oil and bikes engine oil are the same only to look out for the anti slip additive which effect the those bikes with wet clutch system like most bikes but this does not effect those bike with dry clutches. Mobil 1, i used on my st11 before and ever attended a course on engine oil conduct by Mobil. As for the question., about Agip Oil it is hard to find the 20-50w Motul fully synthectic oil and a litre is selling at crazy price of $30 to $33+... You must know that our engine is air cool and running temperature at much higher then those water cooled bikes running. So a thicker viscosity helps to withstand and last longer engine oil change intervals. Play around (15-20w) to 50w And Cheers to you too- Happy New Year. Silverghost...
