  1. hello bro ramsnake. i need ur suggestion as im new on riding the cb400 revo. which bike shop/mechanic which really knows well abt the bike, would u recommend for servicing or heavy repair? thank u in advance.

  2. Hi Ramsnake

do you mind recommending some bike shops for revo. preferrably in the east.

being singaporean, obviously i wld love somewhere cheap but then again i'd appreciate any recommendations. :)

anyway, short question. revo standard stock except for K&N air filters. recently realised an abnormal increase in idling (1600rpm or slightly higher. used to be at 1200-1400rpm) and noticable difference in power and bike isnt as smooth... sound difference as well obviously. normal riding before this and no problem. this issue just creep out of nowhere. any whats wrong?

i read the thread and saw opinions on installing PC5 or getting new TPS due to this idling issue. but any other recommendations or opinion from yourself?

really don intend to sell off, but if this is to prolong or be repetitive issue i might consider selling. cause a new TPS for example isnt very cheap.

  3. Hi ramsnake,

Strongbow and chiaph recommended me to find you if i am interested in getting a new revo haha any good deals currently? Appreciate your help/advise looking forward to join the super 4 family^^

  4. Hi ramsnake,

Saw your msg about alternator burnt and get changed at FJT. Thanks for sharing. My revo also have the same problem of 2nd swing at start up all the while from 1 to 2 month "new".

Can you provide the address of FJT? Just in case my revo failed accidentally someday some where.

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    LeoWai

  5. Hey guys, we are at Mr Teh Tarik
  6. Don't have any for RWr. My pipe is stock. The induction roar from the KnN filter is louder than the exhaust note. My view is that it is a 125/2A bike; so why waste money fitting aftermarket parts? Just ride and enjoy it for what it is... BTW, the Ixil is a slip-on end can. Other than weight savings, you hardly get any performance improvement.
  7. you don't come who will come?
  8. If you haven't got your RWr, it doesn't matter. Just come with any ride

  10. Enter by Starbucks entrance that leads to Carls Jr if you turn right. Official bike parking is in front of Carls Jr. I'm hoping there will be 2 car park lots that we can occupy in front of Mr Teh Tarik, which is on the left after entering car park I'm sure you will get better at riding in time, iceimmortal, so don't worry about it... Yup, meet up for coffee/makan/chit chat. we'll also share with you & other new owners whatever we know about the bike

  14. hmm... you sound like one particular RWr ex-rider who used to complain about "bike no power..." + "don't like car-taxi-whatever tailgate me" etc. etc. It is not so much that "cars all can go fast or other bikers also faster. It is more because YOU have yet to learn how to go fast. Give yourself some time and like I said before, you are running in your bike, so relax with your ride. do u know anything about torque curve or power band? if not, pls google and do some research so you understand how a combustion engine behaves under load. why do they build bikes with gears? why not ju
  15. Bike dropping speed on up slope is normal. Just down gear and go. As you are still running in the bike, just relax lah. Shift gear down but don't over-rev engine to go upslope. Doesn't matter what other bikes are doing at this stage, bro.
