  1. I have been owning and racing DRZs since 2006. I have my own shop now and have been servicing DRZs since 2011. Come talk to me at the shop and let me explain the purpose and function of the things in your wish list... then you can decide for yourself what is needed and what is only a nice to have item.
  2. Just be aware that PG Trackdays can be dangerous.. Sometimes newbies will decide to change lines in the middle of the corners without realizing that there may be faster bikes coming from behind committed to overtake them already. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format=go&jsonp=vglnk_141320987470111&key=cdd5f77707c6770438a93e08c16b4e22&libId=016be308-77a0-4987-a76a-50096c509e2d&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.singaporebikes.com%2Fforums%2Fshowthread.php%2F329157-Honda-CBR-250R%2Fpage6&v=1&out=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fphoto.php%3Fv%3D600672526687012&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.singaporebikes.com%2Fforums%2Fshowthread.php%2F329157-Honda-CBR-250R%2Fpage7&title=Honda%20CBR%20250R%20-%20Page%206&txt=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fphoto.php%3Fv%3D600672526687012
  3. Their is website is not updated real time... best is to call and check with them before going.
  4. Go to ST for your inspections... Vicom inspectors don't know **** and like to act like they are the LTA.
  5. Interesting read.... wish you best of luck on your journey.
  6. Raptor MotorSports has been racing and are still racing two CBR250Rs for two seasons in the MSS series (2013 and 2014) at Sepang. We maintain, service and race modify our own bikes... and currently we are the fastest Honda 250s racing in the Open 250 category. If you need aftermarket performance parts or wish to service your CBR250R... come talk to me at the shop.
  7. Bro.. the rack in the pic is the Promoto Rackit top rack from USA... it costs about $180. If LAB is selling this same rack at $80... its a damn good bargain.. unbeatable. But the trouble is... I have had a close up look at the original genuine imitation copy duplicate of this that he sells. It is a very close copy of the original, the giveaway is it does not have the wordings printed on it and the poor quallity of the aluminium used. Anyway... the rule stills stand as what is cheap is never good... you pay for quality. At Raptor MotorSports... I believe in only carrying original DRZ accessories because I believe in quality.
  8. I am 57 and taking part in the Open 250 MSS races with a Honda CBR250R at Sepang this year, am actually the oldest participant there. I believe if your passion is strong enough, age is never a factor. I guess when time is getting shorter, you got to play harder.
  9. Raptor MotorSports CBR250R in the MSS 2014 Moriwaki race colours.
  10. Any bike for that matter.. if not maintained and serviced at recommended intervals.. will break down and incur expensive repairs. Any bike. Period.
  11. Hi raptor, i went to a mechanic and change my spockets. When i change my front sprocket my mechanic ask me to watch him

Tighten the nut of my gearshaft because its easy to break. So when he tighten it using airgun, it broke. Now he say i need to overhaul. Can you advice or give me your contact? My number is 90608415. I hope u can contact me to give your advice

  12. Truing of spoke wheels can be done at Raptor MotorSports..its $80 per wheel. Have to dismount the wheel from the bike, the tyre from the wheel before it can be done.
  13. Sepang Turn 2... the Honda CBR250R, in my humble opinion, the best sportsbike to ride and race on the track for a newbie who wants to learn how to carry high corner speeds.
  14. You want I can check out the bike for you.. I don't charge any fee. to me its just helping out another DRZ rider.. you better do it fast while you still got their warranty. After their so called warranty period.. all the repairs will be borne by you.
  15. My first visit to the PG track in 2005 was, of all days, on their Track Day Sunday. Needless to say, I had the crap scared out of me by the fast boys on the straights and in the corners. I was told by the seasoned guys..... 1. That overtaking at high speeds and close proximity is part of the game. 2. Not to do sudden directional changes on the straights or in the corners. If you think you cock up that corner, you can always correct it the next lap. 3. There is no need to be ashamed of using your mirrors.. as a beginner.. its safer to let you know where the fast boys are coming from. 4. That there is no shame involved being overtaken by a smaller machine.. but instead to learn why their lines through the corners is so much faster.. they know something I don't. (PS - I was riding a CBR1000RR then and the Y125Zs and KR150s were riding circles around me in the corners.) 5. Always ask for advice from the really fast riders, they are not fast for no reason... not from the average rider who rides like you. You will learn faster from an experienced rider. 6. Putting the knee down should not be the first priority for going to the track.. learning how to ride fast safely should be it. The knee down will come naturally when the speed is fast enough. 7. Last but not least... leave your ego at home. You cannot ride fast, don't blame the machine... blame yourself. And never let the ego control the throttle. Yep.. I got my fair share of people cuzzing me, waving their fists at me, shaking their heads at me... lecturing me for being too slow in the corners and blocking their racing lines. I went through all that during my first few track sessions 7 years ago.. but I never gave up and just wanted to improve on my riding skills.... I wanted so badly to be like "those fast boys". Those days I thought the way they don't brake and dive into the corners and overtake in the corners was scarily dangerous.. today it looks normal and its part and parcel of racing in the BRS and MSS races. Anyone can become a very fast track rider.. it just takes alot of time, money and practice. No shortcuts.
