I picked up my new RK Classic on Sunday with the 103 Engine, Fatshotz, stage 1 air and supertuner. I am 110% happy with the ride, handling and power. Comes std with ABS, air shocks, security etc. No sound system though.

Nice to see a few Harleys cruising the streets of Shanghai these days. Saw two Sporties and and an ex military classic in one afternoon.

I had this problem with my first Sporty in the end had the slow jet changed in the carby - something to do with the emissions laws in the US whilst Harley was still trying to keep carby models. At the time the then mechanic at the dealership Zul knew a fair bit about this and it helped - you may want to google it. Others with the same problem changed out their carbies completely to the S&S or Mikuni. Since going EFI with PCV I dont have these problems at all anymore

I took my wife's sporty out for a spin on the weekend and in the process of making sure I was first away from the lights snapped the drivebelt. It's a 1200 with only about 25k klm on the clock. Anyone had this experience before?

Hi long time no see. I am using a stock HD detachable shield on my Heritage Classic but only put on for long rides like to Frasers etc. (too hot to put on for daily use). Shield is big and puts off a lot of noise. Also after about 150 to 160kph there is a stong wind force against the shield that causes a type of wallowing effect like speed wobbles but a bit slower. Great in the rain though. Cheers

Hahooo what a hoot - 160KPH (I assume you meant kph) is good for an 883 (good for most Harleys actually) gets very windy at that speed due to the riding position.

Agree with you and CC, I don't like puttering around behind cars - in fact I don't really enjoy puttering around at all. One of the reasons I installed the PCV and had the dyno/:angel:

I put the PCV and had a Dyno tune last week after putting on the SE high flow air filter. I'm riding an 07 FLSTC (1584cc). Responsiveness is greatly improved and all flat spots etc. eliminated. Performance improved significantly through the full range paticularly bottom end. Red line is now at 6.2k rpm up from 5.5k rpm - not much chance to use 6th gear in Singapore anymore. Engine also seems to be running cooler and overall ride somewhat smoother. Not cheap but in my opinion worth it. Having said that I think my 1200R (05 carby model) is still quicker off the mark. Cheers
