  1. Hi Guys, I am looking for khakis that is interested to get the Kawasaki Vulcan S. I first saw this bike in Thailand, and ever since then, I think I am hooked. I looked at all bikes in Singapore, and the only one that can match this is the VRod or Tmax, but that's overkill to me for now. Unfortunately, our Singapore distributor - Evershine does not bring in. I tried to call to inquire, but for 1 unit, they are not interested to do all the hardwork. So here I am trying my luck to see if any Singaporean peeps might be interested in this bike, and go on a journey to probably bring in the Kawasaki Vulcan S into Singapore. 2 ways we can do this. 1. Gather a couple of serious buyers to Evershine, and talk to them to bring in the bike for us (preferred method) I am not sure how many sales would make evershine do all the hardwork, but i think if we sit down and talk about it with them, they probably would consider our request. 2. Import the bike ourselves from Johor or KL. (I have experience bringing in KTM duke 200, from India, back in 2011 with a group of friends met on this forum. This is very hard and tiresome work and I prefer not to go through this process again if possible. Alot of commitment needed) So, anyone interested? Why this particular bike you might say? I think this bike make sense in Singapore context. Its the next Honda Steed or Phantom or Honda Shadow. Economically, its not too extravagant. its only 32kRM on the road in Malaysia. That's only 10k SGD. With all the garbage costs that is needed in Singapore context, probably the total cost estimate is about 28k? maybe. So, you guys go take a look at youtube videos or drop by johor showroom to view the bike. Its pretty stunning especially the right colour combination. (not the black or purple popular in Johor, but the newer 2018 models found in KL) To me it looks like a V-Rod. But a little laid back, basic and for everyday use. Ok, I am just trying my luck. But heck I am serious and have the cash to pump in 100% of the cost. During my time importing the KTM 200, there were like 8-9 people, end up only 3 were really serious (including myself) So, therefore, if you are half hearted, please do not commit. Another pointer is, you need to have the capital to pay off in cash for everything. Thank you! (crosses finger)
  2. hi, i saw your post regarding parallel import. just wondering, is it worth all the effort to do it?

  3. Hi There, I am getting more accurate figures from Japan. hold on the 6k for now. I am in touch with dealers there. Will get more accurate figures on the road over there.
  4. The bikes solfe here I heared they are all parallel import. Official dealer no news yet! Anybody keen to parallel import? Of course this would mean tremendous commitment and work and research. I've parallel import KTM Duke 200 before with buddies i met here. So i've got experience and know how LTA might curb you from registering but that is all settled. Not too sure about where to import, Im thinking India...Japan is quite difficult to penetrate the market unless somebody knows how to speak japanese ( I am in Japan as we speak) to talk to dealer, shipment guys, crating guys. etc. FYI, KTM Duke 200, cost me 9k On the road with COE, insurance. that was last year. Negative point is, KTM dealer will not care **** about your bike. But it doesnt matter kos i go to other reputable shops and order parts thru them from KTM dealer. If anybody interested, we can go for discussion. Share information and calculate if it is all worth it. If bike is sold at 14k. I bet we can get this at 12k with everything in on the road with COE etc. Japan selling 6k SGD if im not mistaken. so we roughly can estimate from there how much it will all cost. Ok whatever, just pm me. Will not post anymore about this. Apparently its sensitive. Note: Only commited ppl and those willing to share ideas and WORK and share resources only. If not, please do not reply to me. The previous batch of guys i did with were really great. excellent team work. Best Regards. Son4ta
  5. Thanx bro, if u come across anyone, do share the info
  6. Hello guys, Im looking for people who wants to Import KTM Duke 200cc with me, or any other motorbike from India, Pulsar NS200 included. The Pulsar NS200 must wait for launch and booking which might take 25 days in India to get the Pulsar NS200, does not include shipping time which might take another 25 days. There is a potential to save 15%-40% OTR price in Singapore (for the Duke) according to my resources and research which I have been intensively doing. That % depends on how many people joining in venture. As for the Pulsar NS200, the % depends on how much the local dealers are selling. Please message me if you are interested. We can have chit chat via kopi and I will share all the plan that I have and share resources. Must have cash power to pay one time up-front because this one no installment, lump sum only. But if can get 3 people, u'll basically be getting a Duke. (everything included, COE, tax, etc.) for the price of fz16 on the road.

  11. Hello guys, I am looking at duke 200. Was wondering if this bike can be installed with a box, those square metallish box with an X, not sure what brand or where to get it. Maybe those with the 125cc Duke could advice.
  12. @ O'Ren, May i know the exporter that you have, which city in India? I was thinking of getting an Indian friend's relative, or middleman online trusted site such as odesk (not sure if can find people do this kind of job, but can try) to help oversee the transaction. Though that is still in progress, kos I am finding the right person to 1) handle the money 2) Scout for the right shop in the city that can export the Bajaj 3) If we use your exporter, then to travel to the city of your exporter and oversee the purchase and export process. If I can find the best person, then hope to cut cost by travelling there. Used to hire someone thru odesk at dirt cheap price US 250 to do more complex issues job that uses up 2 months work. So, hopefully I can scout for for such person to do low tech job. Will update again. Do tell if you think the idea.
  13. @ mjbs64 Thanks for the reply! from your experience, travelling 100km/hr, does it feel comfy. Kos my phantom engine when at that speed, like want to explode, not nice feeling. The bajaj at 100-120km/hr got that kind of feeling? Engine feel like exploding ?....and the very strong vibration...? \

  15. Hello, What is your opinion on pulsars if they used to travel from Bedok to Tuas everyday. Is it worth getting the Pulsar, say I assume on the model that is available right now.
