  1. Hi, I am looking to get a Daelim Daystar 125cc (Class 2B) but I heard many negatives stuff about this bike mainly towards the maintenance and availability of parts in Singapore. Can I ask those Daelim or experienced riders out there is this true? Because I really like the bike and hope that I could actually own one without worrying about all these rather important stuffs. Thank you!

  5. Let me introduce Eun Hee to you. My bike which brought me to places and more importantly, safely reaching every destination. Letting go with a very heavy heart due to lack of time in Singapore. Want her to find a owner who will take care of her. She is really a head turner to both other riders, girls and guys, she is a deep striking red. Just as important to know the bike, i think it is also important to know the rider. I take care of my bike very well and have always been a safe rider, no accidents. Changed the tyres to be safer and installed a louder horn to let drivers know my presence and always gentle with her. Below are more specs: Bike detail: COE: April 2021 Registration Date: 22 April 2010 In Excellent Condition and very low mileage (11974km) It's huge and stable for a 125cc, looks like a Class 2A or 2. Daelim has one of the best trusted mechanic at CKA. Accessories: - Hella twintone horn - Front and Rear tyres changed to Michelin Pilot Road 2 (did alot of research, one of the better tyres for wet or dry conditions) - Other items all stock. No worries about illegal mod. - Accident free - All servicing only done at Original distributor CKA. Asking price $ 4000. Price Nego. Interested party may message or call at 97119962

  7. I just upgraded to class 2A bike. So now my Daystar cruiser is my spare bike. In good working condition, just did full service on 14 November. – engine oil, air filter, oil filter changed – lever handle replaced for both side – serviced spring tensioner – serviced brake master pump – recent receipt can be provided – new slim IU unit (installed early this year- still got 4 years warranty) – both tyres, chain & spocket still usable as changes mid this year. It comes with 2 side boxes and rear box. Lots of storage! - Not for fussy buyers. Original paintwork, so red color fading. - Speedometer not working, but rpm working. It doesn’t bother me but if you want, can change to a new meter set for around $120. Fuel gauge working, as well as the light indicators. Vehicle Details from LTA Make / Model: Daelim Daystar Primary Colour: Red Engine Capacity: 125 cc First Registration Date: 03 Mar 2000 Open Market Value (OMV): $3,861.00 COE Expiry Date: 29 Feb 2020 (renewable) View to believe and free test ride. Bike with good OMV but my asking machine price: $2345! Still have more than 5 years of coe remaining, and its cheaper than paying the cost of COE nowadays! Next buyer simply have to buy insurance for the bike, we go to LTA and buyer settle the transfer fee of $11 and you would get the bike on the spot. Contact me SMS/WhatsAPP @ 90692441 Update 3-Dec: Bike will be sent for re-spray work so viewing only available from 15Dec onwards.

  10. Hello guys, I am planning to sell my Daelim RWR ride of 4years. Bike is stocked. Main components that have been changed before are rectifier & fuel-pump. The rest are wear & tear. Mainly used for transportation to & fro, never track or toured before. Huge savings on fuel as fuel efficiency is excellent, averaged 31km/L, a huge savings on petrol. I travel about 30km each day and only pump fortnightly. Decent speed and fuel consumption, you will be able to save on long-term cost. Recommendable to those who intend to upgrade to class 2A or 2. Regular servicing is done at CKA(agent) kaki bukit, servicing records can be checked with them. Defects on the bike There are damages to the fairings as bike was toppled over when parked… Planning to send for re-painting soon(March). However, there is an opportunity for new owner to decide on his/her paintwork, price can be negotiated further. Also noted that there are some scratches on end-can. Overall, performance of bike is 8/10, appearance is 1/10. (I’m being honest) Road tax till 27July 2014 COE till 27 July 2018 Mileage 63,000km SOLD Photos will be up soon! http://www.singaporebikes.com/used_bikes/22267/daelim_roadwin_r125/

  13. Dear seniors, I am a brand spanking new rider and am looking for my 1st bike . I am looking for a brandnew bike as i have heard some advice from one of my rider frens. As of now, i am looking at these 3 bikes. From what i have researched, these are my following information that i gathered, please let me know if i am right. Some important background and criteria: 1) I am planning to ride my new bike for about 2-4 years until i get my Cl 2. 2) Looking for a safer bike (e.g. larger presence on the road, more stability, power to get out of trouble, good braking power) 3) Of course head-turner factor is very much welcome 4) A bike suitable for noobs like me As such here is my brief summary of YZF R125: expensive (13k OTR right?), headturner, good maintenance, good fc, good reliability Question for this bike: how is braking power? acceleration to get out of trouble? riding comfort? stable? Daelim Roadwin R125: cheaper (4-5k than YZF), looks ok nia, stable, good fc, heard acceleration slow Question: braking power? i also heard should change wheels to bridgestone 090 as stock wheels not so good. how about maintenance and reliability? Korean brand ok mah? Hyosung GTR125: no known price, looks as good as YZF, think is the biggest so most stable? Question: braking power? how is the wheels, skid prone? have to change wheels? basically i have not much knowledge of this bike...more info needed. I hope to have some advice from you seniors, especially since you all have massive riding experience and i am sure some of you have heard of or even ridden these bikes. Please share THANK YOU very much!! ARIGATO!
