Bike extremely well maintained, seldom ride except when i travel in the day as its more convenient / faster / easier to find parking. bike doesn't go rounding / touring / track etc.

 

Bike specifics:

 

Bike uses Motul 5100 10W40 during the colder periods of the year and 20W40 during the warmer periods.

 

Motul 300V used once every 3 months / 6 oil changes (if i can remember how many times i've changed my oil) for the fun of it. honestly.. don't feel the difference.

 

Bike currently running on Engine ice for coolant. capacity is at 1L (including reserve).

 

Forks are always using only 20W40 oil as i don't like my forks compressing too much especially during hard braking.

 

Brake fluid using Motul DOT4

 

Every 6 months / 15,000km (whichever comes first):

Air filter washed

Spark plugs

Brake fluid (brake pads if needed)

Coolant check (top up if needed)

Sprocket checks

Bearing checks

Polished, sealant and waxing (either by some group in the forums or in JB for RM50)

 

Every 12 months (irregardless):

Brake pads

Brake fluid

Coolant change

air filter wash / check

spark plug.

& whatever else they do @ Hong Leong during their "15 point full service check up"
