might need some servicing or tuning of ur bike

i'm a new rider.. n i plan on getting a bike :cheeky:

 

but i got some questions...

 

i always wanted a Honda NSR150SP... but i heard its out of production le... and its very old so not worth it...

 

but KRR is still in production but also considered quite an old bike le...

 

Also I wanna noe...

 

1. How much does a 1st n 2nd hand KRR costs?

2. How much does it cost to maintain a KRR/mth? say i onli ride from home 2 sch... (i stay in serangoon - singapore poly)

3. Are there any better class 2b bikes that u wld recommend?

4. Is the KRR a good bike 2 start on? as in 1st bike...

 

Last thing is all my frens say 1st bike u buy must be 2nd hand cause surely surely 100% surely will bwang 1... is tis really true? :faint:

1) pls dun buy 1st hand 2b bike.

2) petrol full tank ard 12 bucks can last say 250km plus minus, spark plug and eo about 25 bucks change ard once every 4 months depending on how u ride and distance covered, 2T can buy from carrefour at ard 4 bucks a bottle and top up as u deem fit.

3) sparkz is good. maintenance v cheap n hassle free. if u die die want 1st hand u can consider the new X1-R.

4) IMO i think krr is fine as a first bike, currently v satisfied with it.

 

ur frens say sure buang half true ba.. u ride safely wun buang lor.. but starting u sure not used to machine then suay suay sometimes nv park properly or careless then stationery drop. like that considered buang anot lol..

 

lastly, hope i did not miss out anything and hope my info helps u.. :cheeky:

erm 1stly thx shinsou for clearning some doubts...

especially since every1 seems 2 be saying dun buy a 1st hand 2b bike...

 

but i onli intend to stick 2 2b larh... maybe nex time hand itchy le den go for class 2... i maybe buy a 2nd hand until i quite used 2 biking den buy a 1st hand 1... or maybe fix(mod) the 2nd hand 1 lorh...

 

btw wads the X1-R? i really dunno much bout bikes... but i see the KRR like quite chio... but in terms of chioness i still kinda prefer the NSR 150 SP

 

and hor the person who nv park properly... did it happen 2 u b4? :p haha...

paintwork varies with each individual owner. yeow motors does quite nice paintwork but for me i prefer to have simple paintwork and add on my own stickers..

 

X1-R is the new X1.. is a kup kia, look like honda wave that type lor.. fc v gd de..

 

and yes it juz happened to me ytd.. i park beside van then nv realize the ground not even.. i get off then the bike drop on van and my mirror broke off.. juz replaced it today..

 

if u heart tells u sp then u get sp lor.. up to individual preference ba..

 

and u intend to use only 2b bikes? i said that b4 i got my kr.. then i use 1 week later i wan more power lol... u'll understand once u get it heheh..
