what.... I can't believe they lost... last I checked last night they were trailing 2-0... to man city of all teams sey. sad... they used to be such a great team.. and then they start importing so many "foreign talents". :S

what.... I can't believe they lost... last I checked last night they were trailing 2-0... to man city of all teams sey. sad... they used to be such a great team.. and then they start importing so many "foreign talents". :S

 

Haha.. Guess Man C has a great story to tell.. Yeah it's a bit confusing though this soccer world.. It's supposed that all e team names are based on their cities... Therefore shouldn't it be only locals staying in that respective cities to play in their own respective clubs..? Hehe.. There goes e good old days ..

well, it's something like the s-league isn't it... we didn't had foreigners playing for the teams. Now, we even have foreigners playing in the national team. All you need is to stay in sg a couple of years, be good enough to represent and walah, sg citizenship presented to you. It's the same for every other sport. Last time, my Indon badminton coach brought in Indon players to play for his boys team in ACS (Barker). Damn strong team... but studies like ahem.. not very good la.

 

Man City used to be great too... but they haven't been so in the last decade... at least during the times that I was supporting ManU la... I still think their 98-99 team was the best ever... hurrhurr... I stopped following football when david beckham left ManU. :cry:

(but I didn't start supporting them because of him la... Just wanted to get that straight =p)

Wenger n Ferguson r veri smart to sell players when they r not fit anymore.. eg Lungberg,Pires, Beckham,,, manytimes they will b injured..d oni one he kept was Solksjaer n when he was fit he did reward Man U for their loyalty..
