U can try Hyperpro or Wilbers. Thk HP would be cheaper i think.

 

There should be various handguards for u to choose from but i feel the OEM ones still the best. For DL650, u can online purchase.

My fren he mod the 1k handguard.. but think bit goyak already. .so ... tempting to check out new ones....

 

HP.... hmmmmm well the springs all cost almost 1K.. -_-.. damn heavy on the pocket leh -_- ...

 

Currently any prob with the stock springs? If not make do with it 1st ba while u fill up ur pocket. :)

i never pillion with the wee. with top-heavy, i find it not very suitable for two up. some more, i heavy weight loh.

 

did pillion my son once, and i felt like i was carrying the bukit timah hill behind me.

 

he also heavy weight.

 

sorry, can't tell you what's wrong with your mainstand.

 

never hav problem with the mainstand.

 

you may want to check the spring for the mainstand. :)

i think this is normal....

there were few occasionsi when i scrap my mainstand with a pillion behind....

 

i think the shocks are not meant for 2 up...need to have a better shocks when going up 2...

try turning the suspension to hard or high.

 

you can find the knob at the right side, just below the seat.

 

this will make your ride on tarmac road less bouncy and it should help when 2 up. :cool:

we will surely meet when the date draws near under the strommers group.

 

according to team 27 (jack sim), they have booked and will room us under the strommers.

 

they have earlier on mistaken us as "stormmers" (when i paid up).

 

so, anyone has a date and time in mind to meet? :cool:

Done that. .even the rebounce screw i turned max... then tune half a turn back.

 

Oh well. Unless i change aftermarket.... else will be as such... hahaha

You might want to try fixing raising links to raise the bike by an inch. I used to scrap my mainstand base on some high humps on 2-up. After raising, no more worries.
