simply removing the battery and doing nothing else will have no effect whatsoever on the rest of the bike. other than the clock which will reset.


It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

I seldom ride my bike so battery not fully charged. I want remove battery and bring home to fully charge it. Question: if I remove battery from bike, will this affect the ECU settings or any complications ? Any experts please advise...

If you are speaking about a battery not being able to hold a complete charge i.e. nominal voltage of 12.9v when measured with a voltmeter, your battery most probably have gone bad. The State of Charge "SOC" is no longer close to 100%


Share with us your Battery brand, model, age, bike model. Battery Charger brand and model. Nominal Voltage when uncharged (left in open). It will be easier to come to a more proper conclusion.
