For all those XJRers, whom is yet to get their Ohlins/Showas 'locked', this is a timely reminder.

FYI: one of our dear member here got his ohlins stolen at the MSCP today AM.

So please do so ASAP.

Don't let thieves thrives on our posessions.

We may not stop 'em, but we must deter 'em!

Alamak, which of our brother?

Never heard of this problem for sometime, thought this crap thing is over, but apparently not.

Somehow I feel MSCP is damn not safe, better park at open carpark.

Cheers

i never like MSCP.

i heard alot of bike parts being stolen & removed by thieves.

Not trying to say that open car park lots is any better, but at least its 'open'.

And easier to see see esp if your house windows is facing the cp.

hmmmm.... so that means s4 rear shocks can be used on xjr as well.

a resounding yes.

while on the topic of shocks, does anyone know what is the length of the xjr shocks?

erm...same as S4's showa shocks, i believe.

Y?

do you have any XJR's ohlins/showa shocks for use?

Hi guys!

I wanna ask whether is it normal for the XJR400 rear brake to totally lose its hydraulic pressure if the brake gets too hot. It is because at, CDC my XJR400, both different bikes on different occasions, i totally lost the rear brake after some time when it gets too hot. The instructors say that it is the disign of the brake itself. I have to wait for it to cool down before i get control of my rear brake again. Is this normal?

Thanks guys. :)

Hi,

I got my XJR400R this morning. My rear brake pressure was completely gone after 30 mins of riding. Can anybody give suggestions?

Thanks,

Bogs

why dont you have a look in at your problem at a relieable mechanic?

i would reccomend to change it to a steel braided brake hoses.

I changed mine sometime back & since then, my rear brakes have no such reoccurences.
