Why didnt you get aftermarket exhausts instead? Laser makes some nice retro looking ones.

I will not paint the engine to black and the wheel to gold colour like the 2006 model, I prefer the unpainted aluminium engine and the stock wheels.

 

I actually prefer the Zephyr in stock condition at the moment, not many Zephyr left in Singapore and I think should try my best to keep one in 99.999 stock

The progress is very slow as I need to juggle among work, family and my other bike, the current obstacle is getting the approval from my wife to convert my reading room into a temporary workshop so that I can work on the engine in the room while sending the frame, wheels and other bits for painting.

wah up la bro...i oso have bike doing restoring now...sianz...i stay in hdb, no friend owns workshop..so i send it in to shop to restore...cost lots man..going 3k already...converting from sport clip ons to straight bar, forks change, wheel change, many many things change...just like urs.

I think HDB MSCP should be no problem as long as you park the bike at a higher floor and a deserted lot, don’t mess up the place and always cover your skeletonised bike.

I bought all those parts from Julietalphapapaalphanovember, still haven't ship them back yet. I think I bought the whole bike except the frame, engine and wheels.... haha

I dare not to check the expenditures spreadsheet of my Zephyr750, the last time I checked, the total amount already exceeded the amount that I paid for the bike:cry:

 

Buying a used Zephyr750 from Japan and smuggle it in would be easier, cheaper and less hassle...haha
