Just read your ad.

Heh... that could explain why your bike was faster than the other RS125s that night. :D

But, *pssssssst*, if you do really get to sell your bike to someone outside of this Aprilia circle, maybe you could state it as "Bone Stock" and then exchange your special Milo Kong with one of your brudders here? ;)

I know I exchanged my special Milo with a friend's stock one last time, when I sold my bike out to an outsider. So he got a stock bike.

Don't mind doing that, but troublesome la... The best can sell in one piece.

Just changed by rear bearings, tot got probelms, but actually was the sprockets, haiz...

New owner will get new stuffs for nothing.

Any dude in our Aprillia circle I willing to drop the price, will miss my little baby.

When JB again? Must go on dry weather play the 270...

efferverscence, Aprilia comes with 1 key. the owner must have changed the ignition starter that's why he has 2 keys, one for the ignition and one for the tank. I changed mine too so i also have 2. My ignition got problem so have to change to a new one.

efferverscence, eh pai seh man... you asked so many times and no one reply..

actually all aprilia come with 2 keys.. most of the times, the other key will be kept with the shop, if you are still under installment.. but once you cleared you installment, the key will be returned to you.. the spare key is kept with them just in case you lose your keys and you default your payment then they will tow your bike...

 hear that aprilla bike is a problem bike, so problem is can give in the Rs125 bike
Posted

Chris 86, simple as that. Aprillia is an italian bike. You need to give it the proper care and the best stuff. Without that, all kinda problems will start to come out. For me, my bike doesn't give me any problem so far. But, money is always a factor when u consider with a kipps or sp, these bikes are japanese and their stuffs are dirt cheap as compared to italian products.

An example is when moving of, we need to move off at 3000 rpm while they just need to turn a little trottle that's it. Our's are bikes that are meant for the track use and need to be whacked often, or not u will notice your valve jam and causing the lost of power.

Sit on an Aprillia and sit on an Jap bike, you will know that the sitting position is completely different. Handling is definately much better. Taking a bend on the expressway at 140 also no kick.

That's the different bro...

Sorry, my answer may not be clear. Like eyz said, all Aprilia will have 2 keys. these are duplicate keys. 1 for you to use and the other for spare. but what i meant was i now have 2 different keys because i changed the ignition starter hence the key for ignition and key for tank is different. so i have to bring 2 keys all the time.

I changed mine coz sometimes the ignition works sometimes not. i think there's a short circuit inside the ignition. If i play with the cable below the ignition, it works. I went to Ahboy to check and he said it can't be fixed coz the ignition part cannot be opened, so must change with a new one. cost me around $130! sigh...

Hi guys, i have some questions. hope you can help me.

1. i just overhauled my bike in Ideal. cost me a bomb! anyway after the overhaul, i can't start my bike. must always push start. it's as if the bike is too cold to start. even when i open the choke lever, still doesnt work.

2. how long do you all usually warm up the engine in the morning or after a few hours not used? until the temperature reaches which point? I usually warm up til 42 degree.

3. can you rev your bike straight after you warm it up or you have to ride it with a low rpm for a few minutes?

Thanks guys!

1) What kind of overhaul? Did you repair/replace the starter motor/coil also? Could be a starter problem.

It could also be that your battery is flat. Does it crank well or weakly? Since u can push start, your plugs and engine should be ok.

2) Try warming to 55 degrees.

3) Keep the revs low for about 8km at first. Maybe under 8000. After that the engine should be fully warmed up and ready to rip.

This was my usual practice last time. I had a healthy engine.

Thanks ! Ah boon replaced lotsa things. the receipt goes to 2 pages long on the items changed. Yes, replaced the starter too. Including piston, conrod, new ignition, etc. Total cost me > $1K!

Battery should be ok, just changed 1 month ago. it cranks alright, not weak at all. But it just doesnt want to start the bike. Even when i left it for only 2 hours not used, it doesnt want to start. but once i push start, turn it off, then i can start it alright.

Any clue?

kowloon, did you turn off your petrol gauge when you leave your bike overnight??

most probably you left it on.. then you will have a hard start the next morning...

if that's the case, usually what i do is i'll just turn of the fuel tap and hold the e-start and turning the throttle at the same time..

i dunno if this works for you.. mayb others got their matter..
